“We are 2 adults with 3 kids (5 to 9 y/o) who spent one week at Tupou's apartment. The apartment is as advertised - it has everything you need, even a washing machine, a microwave and a kettle. Just bear in mind that this is an apartment on an island, it's not built according to western standards (e.g. plastic covering the concrete floor, drinking rain water by getting it with a mug from the outside, cold water shower). As it is in a rural area, we heard lots of pigs, dogs and roosters during day and night. This was no problem for us. There was also a very friendly dog on the property "taking care" of us. The children loved it. We used the apartment as a base for our excursions. The outside of the apartment was not very inviting to us to spend time direclty on the outside (small balcony, no chairs in the garden which was used by the pigs, many mosquitos). It was only a short walk to a wonderful beach. If you stay there, you absolutely have to go to the beach with your snorkelling gear and go to the outside of the reef. This is only possible if the sea is calm. If you get there, the views are incredible. The visibilty in the water was some of the best we ever saw. We spotted various small sharks and an eagle ray. Besides snorkelling, we enjoyed the "standard" excursions to the east and south (beaches there are not suitable for snorkelling). It was interesting to see what the small island has to offer (caves, trees, arches, blow holes etc). Although we didn't meet Topou, she was very responsive to our inquiries. She organized us the transfer from the wharf to the apartment and back, plus a transfer to a rental car company. Everything worked fine. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and could have stayed longer and the value for money at this apartment is really great!”

Seta Homestay is located at the edge of the village of Tufuvai on the island of Eua, overlooking the ocean. It is about 3 minutes walk to the white sandy beach for swimming or sunbathing. July to October is our whale season and swimming with the whale is popular on the island. Sometimes we can see the whale out from the beach. The house location is unique as its surrounded by trees like mango trees, breadfruits, avocado, coconut trees and others.
“If you are planning on going to Eua, this must be the place where you should stay! Tupou welcomes me the best way possible and made my stay a real pleasure. Her sister cooked for the family some traditional Tongan cake and she brung me some, she has been very helpful too when I needed some recommendation on places to visit and when I need some food she was making a meal for me. You will have the place for yourself! And this place is very special! In a middle of a beautiful tufuvai village surrounded by wonderful locals and at only 5 minutes walking from the beach! This is the best place to stay! Highly recommend it!”
