The renovated bungalow nestles on the southern slope of the Rur Valley and overlooks the small village of Untermaubach and its castle. In the immediate vicinity are wonderful hiking trails through former vineyards, the Celtic Hochkoppel and the typical Buntsandsteinfelsen [colorful sandstone rocks] along the Rur. Rurtal & the Eifel National Park are particularly attractive for hikers, mountain bikers/e-bikers and nature lovers.

Odendorf is located between Rheinbach & Euskirchen in the Voreifel & is regionally a wonderful starting point for visits to Bonn, Cologne, Brühl, Phantasialand & the Eifel.

Whether it's a weekend trip or a vacation - you will be delighted by the countryside around Bad Münstereifel-Eschweiler and the adjacent nature reserves. There is a lot to explore and you can start numerous hiking trails directly from the apartment. The 90 m² apartment offers plenty of space. A large living-dining area with open kitchen is complemented by two bedrooms (each with a double bed). A terrace with a view and a modern bathroom complete the apartment. Due to the elevated location, there is almost a guarantee of snow in winter and no extreme heat in summer.

Our newly renovated, large apartment is part of a historic square courtyard. On the upper floor there is a large, cozy kitchen-living room with great views and a fireplace, merging into an open living room, as well as two spacious bedrooms, each with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and a wardrobe. On the first floor there is a small bedroom with a double bed and a large bathroom with a bathtub and shower. It includes a parking space and a private, fenced garden.

In the 60 sqm apartment with private entrance you will find everything you need for a vacation. Kitchen, 1 double bed + 1 sofa bed – Room for max. 4 persons - parking in front of the house In a few minutes you are in the forest, on the 588-meter-high Michelsberg, and you can go for a nice hike. By car, you can reach the Nürburgring, the Ahr, the Ruhrsee or Phantasialand Brühl in a good half hour. Shopping 10 km away. Dogs are welcome by arrangement.

The approx. 80 m² apartment is designed for 2 to 6 people and has a large living and dining area, a nice balcony, a TV, a bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200 cm), a second bedroom with 2 single beds and a fully equipped kitchen incl. dishwasher. For 5/6 occupancy with sofa bed (160 x 200 cm) in the living room.

The Red House in Veytal

The red house is located in the idyllic Veytal between Mechernich and Satzvey, directly on the eponymous Veybach. This allows you to enjoy the special location in the middle of the nature of the old forest worker's house, while being only 900 m from the town of Mechernich. The house is located directly on a bike path and thus offers a good starting point for bike tours in the region.
