Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Eyjafjörður

The guest house is as described and is located in a great location to explore the north of Iceland. Having stayed 3-nights, coming back to relax in the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day. Steini and Gunna were fantastic hosts who welcomed us when we had arrived and made us feel at home. I highly recommend this place!

Un cottage magnifique. Idéal pour relaxer dans la nature. Baldur a été un hôte exceptionnel. Le grille-pain a brisé et Baldur en a immédiatement livré un nouveau au cottage. Je recommande chaleureusement Baldur.

This property exceeded all of our expectations and the photos don’t do it justice. Clean, comfortable and extremely private. We experienced a yellow alert (severe blizzard with very strong winds) so had to stay in the house for an entire day… and it was the perfect place for that! The driveway got completely snowed in, but the caretaker was able to help dig us out and couldn’t have been kinder. We will most certainly stay here again if in the area. Communication was fast, friendly and very thorough.

We had the most amazing week staying here. Couldn’t have asked for more. Lovely place to stay and it’s surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The room was warm and cosy and check in was very easy. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home right from the start. It’s situated near enough to akureyri for a quick drive to the shops and restaurants etc, but also in a peaceful area surrounded by the horses, dogs and nature. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights on our last night which we viewed from the hot tub. A truly amazing week away with some incredible experiences which were made all the better by this great accommodation and lovely host. Couldn’t recommend this place more! Thank you!

The view from this house is everything! This little house is separated from the rest of the town, so you really get a feeling of isolation! It also helps that we got to see the northern lights. Just wow! Spacey enough for 6 adults!

Wij hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad mede dankzij deze mooie accommodatie. Het is een beetje afgelegen t.o.v. Akureyri; wat ook duidelijk op de kaart te zien is. Maar met een huurauto ben je binnen 10 minuten in het centrum én kun je alle kanten op. Wij zouden deze fijne plek zeker aanraden aan anderen!

Schöne und urig gemütlich Hütte. Toller Whirlpool auf der Sonnenterrasse. Badezimmer ist außerhalb, kurzer Weg über die Sonnenterrasse. War für uns aber kein Problem. Das Badezimmer ist schön geräumig. Ein Grill ist auch vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Hosts waren jederzeit super erreichbar.

Thank you so much for such an amazing stay in your wonderful cabin. It was very clean, incredibly warm and cosy (we had lots of snow), great facilities, loads of space for 5 of us and we were totally spoilt with the hot tub! Giles was super helpful and very responsive . The cabin is 10mins to town yet private and peaceful. An amazing location for the ski hill, wandering around town, whale watching and excursions further afield to Lake Mytvan. We had two great meals at the backpackers, coffee at two lovely cafes and ate in too. We saw the Northern Lights from the cabin two out of three nights - just spectacular! Thank you so much.
