Cottage vacation rentals in Fairfield County

Our stay was a very relaxing getaway to Ann’s cottage! We enjoyed the beautiful view of the pond through the large windows while sitting in the spacious open area, hoping to see deer! Although we did not fish in the pond, there were plenty of fish to feed and tried to catch with our fishing nets! Our overall stay was short, but enjoyable! Thanks again for sharing your cottage!

We had a wonderful stay at this cute cabin on Lake Logan. The neighborhood was quiet, and the view walking out in the morning overlooking the lake was beautiful and relaxing. Our favorite feature was definitely the hot tub, located on the back patio, as it was very clean and private. It was the perfect way to relax in the evening after a hike in the park. We found the bed to be comfortable and comparable to our queen bed at home (other reviewers have questioned the size). A short drive from The Coffee Emporium for breakfast or a delicious snack, and minutes from both the park and downtown Logan, the location was ideal. If you’re looking for a simple, no-frills, comfortable cabin close to it all, this rental is for you.

Place was wonderful! Caught lots of small fish without leaving our cabin! Clean, friendly. This was our 2nd time staying at their cabins. Would definitely recommend!

Had a great time fishing hanging out at the property wias definitely worth the money one thing just wish you would have more cooking utensils pots and pans to cook with but besides that was a great outcome beautiful home well taken care of will come back

We had a wonderful weekend! After being overwhelmed on Airbnb trying to select a place to spend a long weekend celebrating our 35th Anniversary in Hocking Hills, this location spoke to us and I'm so happy we selected it. It was quiet and peaceful and we felt at home as soon as we walked in. The house was spotless and the full-size washer/dryer and kitchen appliances were a huge plus. Additionally, the separate split HVAC units in the bedroom and living room were also much appreciated, since we prefer a colder bedroom to sleep. The house was centrally located to Hocking Hills State Park activities. Cedar Falls and Ash Cave were both 10-15 min and the main visitor center was about 20 min. Finally, Sarah was proactive, helpful and attentive. All in all it was the perfect getaway!

Amazing place! We enjoyed the hot tub and movie room in the basement. It is close to Logan, so we can access restaurants easily. We will visit again soon! Thanks Kevin!

Quaint cottage near many of the Hocking Hills attractions. The kitchen was well stocked and the Wi-Fi worked well. Communication with Lisa was easy and she was very responsive when we had an issue. It rained pretty hard and then snowed the two days we were there, so we did not get a chance to enjoy the area. However, we able to watch movies and relax on the comfortable couch and in the hot tub. Next time we hope to get to see the sites!

Incredible home tucked away in McArthur. 10 minutes from a Great little pizza place and a 2 minute drive to a winery. The home was immaculately kept and everything was as advertised. Extremely private and wonderful stars in the sky at night. The hot tub was great to relax in, and the fire pit was great. Also roughly 15 minutes from old man’s cave

I've stayed at several of Nicole's places and each one is wonderful. This location is just a little off High Street and it's perfect for someone with a dog. Fenced backyard and a quiet street! Has everything you could need, and you can walk to just about any restaurant you're looking for.

Was visiting hocking hills state park. it was about a 30 -40 drive to most of the site. So was not bad drive. and joyed the view. It was so quite and peaceful. It was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the birds! hardly anyone drove by! The house was nice with plenty of space to move around. The first floor room would be very accessible for anyone! The start upstairs where very steep.

The Idyll Reserve property was amazing and wide open inside. Windows all around with trees surrounding the peaceful & modern dwelling. Location is perfect and our dog was very excited about the endless hikes throughout the area. Kitchen has everything you need.

The place was absolutely beautiful. We got to see plenty of deer and other wildlife right in the backyard. The amenities were plentiful and had way more space than what the pictures showed. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb and would return myself.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at this lovely little cottage!! It had a little bit of everything, and a lot of ways away from the loudness of any cities. We didn't get to use the hot tub unfortunately, but we could've prepared better. the hot tub wouldn't heat above 91, even when making sure it was on the right setting. We discovered this on our second night there, when we went to get in around 6pm. We waited an hour to see if it would heat up at all, but it wasn't budging. We did contact Trisha then, and she contacted maintenance, but we decided to just forego the experience because it would've taken awhile for the water to heat up and we don't stay up late. We do plan on coming back, this was a gem of a place! The only thing I would add is some lamps or some accent lighting in the house for us neurodivergents that dont use "the big light" because it hurts our eyes and is overstimulating. That's a personal preference, which is why I'm giving our experience 5 stars well earned!

This was one of the cleanest and best stocked Air Bnbs I have ever stayed at. Having a parking spot in Columbus is almost unheard of which was a huge plus for us. We will definitely be back the next time we come to town.

Loved this cabin. The location is really nice as it’s close to the trails and the freeway. We really enjoyed the stay. The hot tub was clean and patio area was nice. Definitely would book again.

Perfect spot for couples! Cute and comfy, great for short or long stays, we loved the very second of it! Didn’t bring a pet this time but knowing they’re pet friendly puts this place at the top of the list if and when we come back to Columbus. The house is in the perfect spot between downtown and German Village putting both within walking distance. It is on a lovely brick paved street and it was easily accessible, parking is conveniently right next to it. Thanks again to Jennifer and Vernon for the amazing stay!

Casita del sol was a wonderful place to stay. The home was impeccably clean and included many games and activities inside and out. Some of our favorites included air hockey, ping pong, bop it, jigsaw puzzles, connect 4, and jenga. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub to start the day, grabbing breakfast at local coffee shops, and walking the kayaks to the lake for a mid-day adventure. The hosts were thorough and thoughtful. They made sure the home had all the essentials, but also wonderful touches like extra toothbrushes, snacks, and homemade treats for humans and fur-babies! The guidebook and binder of manuals were organized and easy to follow. Tastefully placed notes throughout the home clearly communicated details like where to find extra trash bags. We are so glad we stayed at Casita del sol and hope to stay there again Im the future!

My now husband and I stayed here the week of our wedding and the hosts were amazing and communicative. The space was very clean and cozy. We loved our easy stay during our chaotic week. If you’re looking for peace, you can hear a pin drop 3 streets over during the quiet hours listed. Very quiet and calm and relaxing!

Our little family had the most fantastic time during our stay! Even though it rained for most of the trip, we made the best of it with our 5-year-old by making indoor s'mores, playing board games, and using the outdoor grill (even in the rain, which led to plenty of giggles). We also enjoyed a family movie night on the big TV, relaxing on the comfortable couch. Our daughter absolutely loved playing on the oversized, comfy pouf ball lounger, and the bunk bed was her little indoor tree house. We can't wait to stay here again!

Kelly’s place was a perfect stay for our weekend getaway. She had all of the amenities and more! We loved the detail oriented atmosphere and the guidebook on local restaurants and bars, it was very helpful. Would absolutely book with Kelly again.

My daughter and I stayed at Matthew's place overnight during a girl's weekend. Everything was just as promised, very clean and comfortable. Matthew is an exceptional host in my opinion, getting us in at almost last minute. I would definitely recommend this and stay here again!😀
