Our large, light, 2nd floor studio is airy and modern with a deck overlooking the garden, ocean and sunrise. Fantastically located just over a mile from beautiful Winslow Park's walking trails and beach, four miles south of downtown Freeport's shopping and 15 miles north of the popular city of Portland. Imagine staying in a yurt in the woods of Chebeague Island, nestled peacefully in a private clearing in the woods. Explore island beaches and hidden trails. This yurt is “glampy” inside with leather chairs and a substantial log bed. The yurt has a rusticator kitchen with all of the basics for cooking, small fridge, stovetop, sink. Water. Outdoor fire pit. WiFi . Check ferry options on Casco Bay Lines or Chebeague Transportation. Host will provide transport to/from ferry to the yurt.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space with a queen-sized bed, kitchenette, dining/work area, excellent wifi, a full bathroom and a big yard.

Cozy camp near highland lake

If you're looking for a quiet, cozy get a-way steps from the lake this is the place. Lake is private with no public access so it’s not crowded. Close to everything but far enough away; highway (95), Portland, Sebago Lake Area. Boating, swimming, fishing, hiking at your finger tips. 4 kayaks provided. Big yard, great for games, BBQ or sitting by the fire pit. Listen to the loons from the front deck. Sorry no pets so please don’t ask if you bring one!

Enjoy our farmer's porch or walks to the shore deck to look out over the water and enjoy a sunset or go the the shore for a swim in summer. Short distance to Brunswick and Bowdoin College, local restaurants. The host also teaches porcelain doll making. You could learn to make porcelain dolls while enjoying the Maine coast.
