In fact, for almost 60 years, there was an orthopedic shoemaker's workshop in the building, the stock of which was integrated into the furnishings. The Haseltal cycle path passes right by the property. The outdoor swimming pool is about 300 meters away. The ski and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues, downhill with a lift and Schmiedefeld) can easily be reached in 20-30 minutes by car and also by public transport.
