The friendly staff and clean rooms made our stay truly enjoyable. It’s definitely worth it, and I will keep this in mind for my future travels!

Safe environment and good access. There are no steep hills about a 5-minute walk from Taksim Square. It is also safe because it is across from the school. I was able to relax and rest in a clean bed. There was a small elevator, and I was relieved to have large luggage upstairs. The hot water in the shower came out properly. The rooms are recommended.

staying in Ida's room is much benefit - clean room with full amenities - close to everywhere by walk - responsive host - nice guy in the reception area must think : - place a bit smaller for 3 ppl. suitable for 2 - pls dont bring too heavy luggage i feel bad with the guy who help me with the luggage. overall i love her room if i had chance to stay long term in Istanbul will revisit again. thanks

We had a pleasant stay at this aparthotel. I liked the room service, I didn't have to worry about a lot of details. The advantage of this accommodation is its immediate proximity to the Omer Hayyam bus stop which is one stop near that of Taksim. The people at the reception are super helpful and friendly.

Staying at this apartment was a wonderful experience. Parmida and her team are very kind, helpful and responsive at all times. Stayed here as a woman alone and it was quite safe to come back at night The house was very clean and cozy, matched all the descriptions. They do their best to provide anything on request such as towels, iron, sim card, Istanbul card, etc. The location is right in the heart of the city, sooo many great restaurants and cafes around, Taksim square, galata tower and so on. Bus and metro station being right in front of a building is very much appreciated. All in all, even though it's an old building, it has all the amenities one would need during short or long stays, perfect location, friendly staff, great service. Highly recommended. Charming stay! Close to all places to visit, just walking distance.

The location is perfect for anyone wanting easy to access to some of the main tourist attractions like Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. There is also a tram stop right out the front for easy commute to other areas. The accommodation is basic but is comfortable for a short stay in Istanbul

We had 2 nights at Marmara Guesthouse and found it was in a great location near the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. The reception guys had good English and helped with our luggage. It is a quiet place with double glazing and aircon/heating in our room. Internet was very good. The breakfast was fabulous with so many choices and foods to try. Sadly the coffee wasn’t very strong and the bed mattress was too firm. But they’re just small things. Recommend Marmara !

What a gem of a Guesthouse Elif has created at Marmara. Whilst the location is perfect near to all the major sites the guesthouse itself is an oasis of calm where one can retreat back after a day of pounding the streets. Everyone who works there couldn't have been more helpful, warm and welcoming and very quick to rectify any problems one had. The breakfast was utterly delicious with so much choice from delicious vegetable dishes to eggs, both boiled and scrammbled, to all sorts of delicious pastries and breads. As a result one was able to enjoy a feast before setting off for the day and all with a spectacular view. The room I ended up sleeping in was also very comfortable and a lovely place to come back to with its view of the sea. I will definitely be returning but next time with my husband and son!

A great place to stay- 5min from Hagia / Blue Mosque with plenty of dining options and convenience stores just around the corner. There is also a laundry next door with a 2 hour turnaround time. Staff were all super friendly and helpful with very good English. Room was very comfortable and quiet with good air-conditioning and a good shower. Complimentary breakfast was fresh and tasty with many options. If I return to Istanbul, I'd definitely stay here again.
