“What a great getaway in the truest sense! You can hear a symphony of the sounds of nature at night and the stars are extra bright. It really is tucked away from the rest of the world but close enough to society that you can get to a city in 30 minutes. There is hot water and air in the main part of the cabin which was nice. The only thing we disliked were the wasps that had homes in the outhouse. they've really taken up residence there, which can be a little anxiety-inducing while glued to the toilet. Take a fly swatter in there with you!”

“These reviews have been spot on. Hazel's place was super clean, right on Main St., huuuge, and she had extra treats & signage throughout. If I had an Air BNB, I'd do the same! We loved the special touches. My husband and I stayed 2 nights for a biking/Katy Trail adventure. Hazel even gave us a head's up about a bridge on the trail that was out. Oh, and I saw someone mention the t.v. has limited channels. If you click on the remote, select the media button, and it will show the apps available (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.). If you can't find the rental wi-fi (we didn't but it was fine) then you can use your phone as a hotspot. I used my iPhone and we were able to watch Netflix on the tv, during a rainy night while eating yummy carry out from Breadeaux Pizza & Pasta. We also enjoyed dinner our first night at Les Bourgeois Winery Bistro (great views, food, & wine), lunch one day at Maggies Pub & Grill, went to Morgan's Wine & Spirits for a tasting, ice cream at Boonville Store & Cafe, and breakfast one day at the diner. All were good. Even bought a pair of shoes at the local, family owned shoe store. The only downside of our trip, which we knew going in was that due to COVID some places were still closed (Warm Springs Ranch, Rail Museum, Hotel Frederick and the cute bike cafe in Rocheport). We'll be back hopefully this fall. Thank you Hazel and Chara!”

“Such an adorable, quiet neighborhood. The tiny house was so much more than I had expected! It was super cozy and comfortable, and I loved the bohemian decor. There were options for both tea and coffee, which I very much appreciated. I could hear raccoons chittering and scampering across the roof at night, and I had fun listening to them in bed until I fell asleep. The hosts were friendly and communicative—my stay was an overall pleasure!”
