The villa was just as described. Great location, walkable to the beach and close to bars and restaurants yet still private. We were able to check in early and were met by Maria’s family and all the amenities were explained well. Maria checked in with us regularly and came to clean during our stay. We even locked ourselves out and Maria was very helpful in getting us back in. Check out was also very smooth and easy. Overall a great stay and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

This house was perfect for the four in our party, each having their own bedroom. The location was quiet and within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy evenings by the pool.

Snorkelling paradise! Nikos and the Stone House were both great. The house is small, but has everything you need, with the pool and BBQ area where we spent most of our time, and the steps down to the sea lead to a perfect spot for snorkelling, where we saw all sorts of types of sea life. Nikos was there with everything we needed, including recommendations of beaches / restaurants etc. Ierepetra is a much nicer town than people say and the Stone House is a 5 minute drive into town. You could walk, but we didn't. Would highly recommend!

We were well received! Angelina was a very nice woman to communicate with. The first night on arrival we got dinner from her because we were delayed 24 hours and the supermarkets were not open. Villa was very clean. Only downside was the wifi in the villa. The connection was very poor and in a room you had no connection at all. After we indicated that there was no wifi, she told me it would be taken care of. After we had raised this, we were in the villa for 9 days. During that remaining time, we didn't hear back from that. The taxi that was offered to take us was also a good taxi service. And all other activities and services offered were high quality. The cleaning ladies were good and thorough in their work which made the villa well maintained. In short, the wifi was a very nice vacation experience and a very nice host.

House impeccable as in the listing, close to shops, restaurants, beaches, main road. La canée, Gorges de samaria 5 hours by car. We had a great time. Thank you.

A gem and a beautiful retreat in southern Crete. The villa has everything your heart desires, a beautiful view, pool and a modern kitchen that makes every heart of a hobby cook beat faster. I will miss the morning and evening bath in the pool with the view. Since it has almost no light pollution, you can see a starry sky and the Milky Way with the naked eye. Secluded beaches are easily accessible by car within 30 minutes, so a car is highly recommended. Doesn't have to be an SUV. Sam is available at any time and communicates very quickly. Furthermore, he or Lefteris are always available with tips and advice. Sam and Anel are more than super hosts and I can recommend their villa villa 200%.

This place was amazing. Stunning views, private beach, everything you need to stay for a while and relax. Exactly what we were looking for.

A simply perfect place to stay for ferry travel as it is super close to the ferry port. I took a taxi from the ferry port and then realized that I could have easily walked and saved the 20 euros for the taxi ride! In fact, everything is within easy walking distance, and the price is also perfect!

We had such a lovely time staying at Anna and Leandros' apartment. They were very accommodating about the possibility of an early check-in, and both gave us a very warm and friendly welcome when we arrived. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and cosy, with lovely spots to sit out too. It was the perfect base to explore this side of Crete. Anna and Leandros truly are two of the nicest people we have met. They made sure we had a wonderful time in Crete, giving us lots of suggestions for family activities, places to eat and sights to visit. Thank you for making Crete such a special holiday. We hope to see you again one day, it would be so lovely to meet up if you ever visit the UK :-).

Having stayed in the area before, a quiet location was the most important aspect for me along with easy access to the beaches and a short walk into Hersonnisos. I couldn't have wished for a better location. The apartment was quiet with little traffic noise, compact and clean. The nearest beach was just a few minutes walk away with cafes and restaurants next to the beach. Hersonnisos itself was about 15 mins easy walk. The garden was a perfect spot for some sunbathing on those lazy days when you didn't want to leave comforts of home. It was an ideal suntrap. I didn't need anything from George on my 10 days, staying at Blue Coast Gardens -Juniper. but he was within easy reach with a whole host of helpful numbers and contacts made available, should have needed to contact him. It was great having a large comfortable double bed with good quality bedding and Aircon if it got too hot at night. All the equipment provided was in great working order, the apartment spotlessly clean. Loved it!!

A really nice and calm place with the beach in walking distance. Manos is a really friendly and relaxed person, who welcomed us warmly. Even when we locked ourselves out of the house, he was right there. Restaurants, a local supermarket with homemade honey and very good olive oil is just 5 minutes from the apartment. Would absolutely recommend! Thank you so much, we had a really great time!

The owners of this place were amazing! They were so nice! The apartment is very clean and organized. The view is absolutely stunning from this place! Recommending everyone to stay here! Would stay here again if we ever visited!

Exceptional location, right in a small bay with lots of restaurants all around. Even in November, one or two were still open. Kitchen really equipped with everything you need; so also ideal for self-catering. Directly diagonally opposite there is a small mini-market that is open every day. Has balconies on both sides and a large sun terrace upstairs on the roof. Check-in and communication with Popi easy. I will definitely come back.

We had a great stay with our 3 children. The house is very nice and very well located in the center next to the tavernas and the beach. Everything is done on foot and the city is semi pedestrian, very simple with children. The roof top and the living room are great! Martha also arranged me by finding me an umbrella bed when I asked her if it was possible before booking. You can go there without a second thought!

The house has such stunning interiors, it is laid out like a 5 star hotel suite with all the added extras too - top quality shampoo/conditioner, body lotion and more. Kitchen was outstanding with every device require including 2 coffee machines - capsules and filter. The lounge is really big and the interiors very high quality, the TV is massive! The beds are super comfy and the linens really wonderful cotton, with beautiful throw cushions and occasional chairs. It feels like a 5 star hotel. As you enter the house on the lower level there are 2 double bedrooms with a shared bathroom and the laundry room, one flight of stairs up is the lounge/kitchen, and outside patio, then up again to the top floor is the master bedroom with dressing room, storage cupboard, ensuite bathroom, and outside patio. All rooms have air-conditioning. Sitia is a lovely harbor town with many restaurants and a great beach, lots of others a short drive away. Totally recommend this place - we hit the jackpot.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Thanks to a warm housing and a permanent availabilty from Eleny. The location is authentic, in the heart of a real village. Eleny gave us also many tips to maximize our East Cretan experience. A perfect host.

We had a wonderful time in Despina's apartment. We liked everything and felt welcome and comfortable. The description is great, the reality is even better. Despina is always helpful and responsive. We had some trouble finding the place. I wrote to Despina and she responded immediately. She arranged a meeting place with us. She was already waiting for us there🙏. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Manoli’s! The house was stunning, nestled in a beautiful village that made our two-night stay even more special. The property was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. The host was excellent, maintaining great communication. We also loved the nearby restaurant, which was superb and added to the overall experience. We truly had a great time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

We had an amazing stay in Agios Ioannis. The house is beautiful, clean, calm, with beautiful views and a great garden. Perfect location to escape tourism and enjoy the mountains. We highly recommend and hope to visit again!
