Fride is a typical Gotland farm from the 18th century. The house is carefully renovated with many charming details such as tiled stove or fireplace in all rooms, two lovely bathrooms with bath and shower. In the kitchen, there is a dining area. On the lower floor, there is a dining room and a games room. The garden is large, with mature trees, a spacious terrace with a dining table and grill, a pizza oven, a playhouse, swings, and a trampoline. The garden consists of several "rooms", breakfast, evening drink and sunbathing area can be in different locations. A stone wall surrounds the yard.

Pastoral Places

Wing on a farm with lambs and meat animals (cows with calves). The farm is located near the coast, in the middle of lush meadows and pastures with about 1.5 - 2 km walking distance to the sea. The accommodation is perfect for families with children and also great for birdwatchers as the farm is close to some of Gotland's best birding spots. Guests are responsible for bed linens and towels. The guest cleans and leaves the place in the same condition as it was in when they arrived. Bicycles are available in the yard to borrow. Kitchen and bathroom were newly renovated in 2022.

Welcome to the limestone house near Herta/Hörte strand. Here you live quiet and rural and with cycling distance to the beach, bakery and grocery store. A few hundred meters to the farm shop with fresh vegetables and eggs. On the ground floor there is a living room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, two bedrooms and a conservatory. The kitchen is fully equipped with, for example, convection oven from Smeg, Moccamaster and VitaMixer. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. Outdoors, there are three private patios and a private barbecue grill.

Our unique home is located on southern Gotland – a modern interpretation of the Gotland barn in burnt spruce and untreated concrete, with large glass sections that blur the boundary between inside and outside. Here, calmness is immediately present. You can swim in the 32-degree pool, cook with local ingredients and let the evenings take their time. The house is completely self-sufficient in electricity via solar cells and batteries. We are happy to share the place that for us means calm, presence and enjoyment of life – and hope that you will feel the same.

A modern cabin with 6 beds in a beautiful cultural landscape surrounded by meadows and oak forests. The house has many balconies, so just choose the one that suits you. The evening sun is wonderful! The house has all the amenities you will need such as a dishwasher and washing machine, barbecue grill and stable Wi-Fi. You clean up after yourself after your stay and you have to bring your own bed linens and towels. Duvets and pillows are available. Southern Gotland offers magical environments with sandy beaches, limestone stacks and a rich cultural life.

Here you come who are looking for a little home for you and your partner or friend. We recommend 2 guest max. Fiskarstugan is an excellent accommodation for those who want to explore Sudret's beautiful views but need a place to stay overnight. A short walk from the cottage village, you will find Fide Adventure Village, which is popular with both adults and children. There is a playground, waffles and coffee. Don't miss the pizza! Continue past Äventyrsbyn to the sea pool, a project to oxygenate the bay. A dip for the brave one!

Roes

You are warmly welcome to book our at least 100-year-old wing building that was once a forge. Here you live in the middle of the countryside among fields and forests with proximity to the sea. On the farm, there are chickens that roam freely, and in the forest and on our meadow, our kind Highland Cattle cows graze, which you can brush or give a carrot if we are there! Behind the main building on the farm, our honey bees live in their hives. During the winter months, you as a guest also have access to a wood-fired sauna and hot tub!

Rebuilt and newly renovated forge in limestone located on the small parish road in Grötlingbo, next to the medieval Kattlunds Museum Farm. The house is part of our farm building where you have two separate patios. The lower floor has a living room with limestone floors with underfloor heating and a large fireplace. A smaller kitchen area that is fully equipped and a bedroom with two beds in a bunk bed. The upper floor has a double bed with the possibility of an extra bed. Newly-built bathroom in extension with separate entrance.

Forget all everyday worries in this spacious and peaceful home. A traditional Gotland farm by the sea, alone located at the end of the headland. View from the windows out over the sea and shore meadows. Adjacent to a nature reserve with many different birds, great for bird watching! The sea is just a few steps away, hike through the meadows with wild flowers, the long beach with untouched soft sand, stretches one km. The surroundings, the light, the sky – especially the stars at night – the "Milky Way".
