Welcome to our guest house where you can relax with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation. Four kilometres from the authentic wooden town of Nora in beautiful Bergslagen is the House of Prayer, built in 1901 and originally a mission house. Now a pleasant accommodation with a large combined kitchen and living room where the church hall was previously located, as well as two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom. On a cold day, the open fireplace in the middle room provides warmth. The garden plot is available for socializing and play. A few hundred metres away there is a swimming area.

You live in a rural and scenic environment with the forest around the corner and the nearest lake is only 800 meters away. The wood-burning stove creates a cozy atmosphere when you are indoors. If you want to get out and move, there are beautiful hiking trails, and for cycling enthusiasts, longer rides around the lakes await. Around the loft, there are pleasant outdoor areas where you can barbecue or relax and enjoy nature.

Spacious holiday home with lake property. Completed in 2017 with a bright and open plan with all possible amenities. There is access to a boat and a lovely swimming jetty. Lake perfect for fishing! Charcoal grill is available to borrow for barbecue evenings that you can spend on a lovely deck with lake view. The house has a larger bedroom with a double bed and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed with a larger bed at the bottom. In the loft, there is a regular bed as well as a comfortable mattress on the floor. AC is available for hot days.

FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Fully equipped main house with 3 bedrooms. Additionally 1 small house available with 4 beds. It is very quiet and peaceful here and you will see the sheep and horses graze near the house.
