Susanne has been a great host. Very quick to respond. Checking in went pretty smoothly when you just got a code for the lockbox. Cozy house. It was a bit private, which was cool. We had a walk to the waterfall, fishing, and canoeing.

We were two families with 6 small children who got to rent the house for one night when we were traveling to the Zoo the next day. The photos match the reality, good communication with the host. The house was clean and organized. Nice peaceful and child friendly place. We felt like we're in home.

We had a great time in the house. 5 bedrooms with good beds, sofas that are very comfortable to sit on and a well equipped kitchen. Quiet and peaceful place to stay. Thank you for your hospitality. Regards, Carsten

Cozy house, well equipped Warm when we arrived, and ready to use if needed. Fun with the goats welcoming us, and bragging happily when they got high and " peeling". Sitting outside around the fire pit is always nice☺️ A nice place to come back to😊

We had an exceptional experience during our stay. The home was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay for a large family of 10 people. In Agnetha's house time stands still...we enjoyed ourselves with antique cups, jugs and the glass...with the nice flowers she had picked and decorated each room with... The 2 double beds (swan) on the second floor are very comfortable, we have slept excellent! In the middle of the pasture there is a butterfly bush that looks amazing, when it blooms and constantly attracts butterfly...it is absolutely wonderful to observe them from the kitchen table...when we relax in the garden chairs they sat down on our feet... once at the same time with a libelle... We have lived in Southern Norway for almost 20 years and for us nature - the area and beaches on Lista are the most beautiful there! Although the weather was that time not so perfect, we were able to enjoy biking and relaxing... Many thanks for sharing this private lovely place with others...

An absolute gem! The house is sooo cosy, charming and warm. It had everything we needed and more. Every window offers absolutely stunning views. The location is great, easy to find, peaceful, great surroundings, good parking. We visited with the 3 of us (couple with a dog) and we were enchanted. The house also has a big garden where our dog could run around. We were worried that such a big, old house would be cold but it wasn't at all. there are 2 fireplaces and heating everywhere. I'm sure it would be amazing even in the middle of winter. The house has such an unbelievable soul, it's decorated with love and great taste. Perfect for long stays. We really hope we will return soon. We felt right at home and Frede Emanuel was of great help and very responsive!

We were pleasantly surprised to find this place even better than in the pictures. The view is beautiful, the place is very quiet and the accommodation is very clean, it lacks nothing. It is within walking distance of all amenities without being in the center, which we greatly appreciated. The hosts are very responsive. Thank you so much for hosting us!

A very nice house! We were a total of five adults and five kids on a trip. The house has lots of dining areas, sofa nooks and bedrooms. Perfect with garden for play and relaxation. The local environment offered sea baths, hiking, nature experiences and fresh air. The kids were active in the local skate hall. Recommend both the place and the house to others.

If you are a little sensitive to the soul of this house, then it will talk to you. It creaks and sighs, it whistles and knocks and sighs gently in the wind (says my husband). I think it was happy with us :-). The cottage has everything you need inside and out. Small, fine garden with all-round ventilation. A brilliant hammock, always one of the terraces in the sun, what more could you want. A treasure box! The location is ideal. All excursions can be started on foot from the house, and all destinations sea, beach, mountains (there is a nice folder in the house) are easy to reach, no matter what you are traveling with. Every weather was right for us- we were always on the road! Kirsti and Roberto are available at any time and respond to everything. They help where they can and are generous with everything. There was a culinary reception adorned with a piece of art from Sophia! At home with friends - that's how you felt :-) Thanks for your trust!

What fantastic days we had, and what a beautiful house and beautiful place. I have been coming to this region for years but this year was able to bring my family for a vacation in this region. Everyone was dumbly surprised by the surroundings, the house and nature. Thank you so much for your tremendous hospitality.

The large apartment was cozy and we felt comfortable. We liked sitting on the veranda overlooking the beautiful garden.

We had a nice and relaxing weekend at Lille Gjerstad. Cozy place and cozy cabin. Easy with parking outside and smooth check-in/check-out. We'd love to come back.

We a family of 4 arrived at Magnar's cabin for one night and stayed for two. We did not get a chance to meet Magnar but he was available all the time and very nice. We found the cabin very easy. It was clean very quite and very well equiped. We even made our own bread and pizza ! The view, Oh the view... Magnifisent. Be aware there are no linnens or towels as it is the standard in cabins across Norway. Toilete has no flush water but we found it no problem at all !!! All in all it was great! Thanks Magnar!

Lovely house with lots of details and fine garden with a lot of tomatoes and herbs to pick from. Very quiet area. Slept well on fine beds. The kitchen had anything you need. The cats were affectionate and very fun for the kids. Walked and went to the stand. Cold water though. Baked pizzas in the conservatory. Also used the hot tub.
