Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Forio

This place is a little paradise on earth. Mimo is super welcoming and helpful. He offered to pick us up from the port. We ended up renting e-bikes and he let us park them and charge them at his house. Even landed us water shoes. The private access to the sea via the rocks is the best part, don’t miss it !!! At 8am for a morning swim or at 7pm for sunset, it’s truly amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer Thank you again Mimo !

Viviana's house was an absolute dream. Set on a beautiful little beach, very close to the old town, and perfectly situated for exploring the island, the cottage is also very well equipped with everything you need for a great stay. We were there for nearly a week, and loved every moment. Viviana was extremely helpful and kind, and even left us some apples and beer -- very handy when we arrived too late to buy groceries. I cannot recommened this place highly enough, and would go back in a heartbeat.

This charming apartment sits high above the busy town of Forio. Although there is not air conditioning, the breezes flow through the house and the fan in the bedroom is quite adequate and comfortable. We enjoy cooking at the end of the day and the kitchen is well equipped for this. We ate most of our meals on the beautiful terrace looking across the rooftops of Forio and the sea. There is an all day supermarket in the piazza nearby, 2 mins walk away. If we needed anything or helpful local tips our hosts replied immediately We were given a taxi contact, Toni, who was helpful with arrival and departure pickup and car hire recommendation. Our stay was so stress free because our hosts were so friendly and responded immediately to our requests. There is a bus service about 10 minute walk down the hill which takes you down to Forio and other places on Ischia. You need to be fit to climb the last stretch up the hill but we managed that and the tranquility at the top was worth it.

Abbiamo trovato l'appartamento persino più bello che in foto! Pulitissimo, ordinato e soprattutto nuovo e attrezzato. La madre di Roberto, disponibilissima, ci ha accolte prima dell'orario previsto dal check in e ci ha proposto di restare anche oltre il check out se ne avessimo avuto bisogno. La posizione è ottima, si trova a pochi passi dal corso principale di Forio e dalle spiagge di Cava dell'Isola, Citara e Chiaia.

We had a great time at Giusi's place! The views over Ischia from the terrasse and garden are truly astonishing and there is ample space to sit and relax, especially in the very large garden. The kitchen is also good for cooking for a group. We were doing a "workacation" there and the place was very suitable to this. You can also be quickly to Forio or Sant'Angelo with a car ; several hiking trails start from the village Serrara Fontana. Although we didn't use it, it seemed well linked to the bus system as well. Finally, Guisi was very nice, reactive and helpful when we had questions or issues, and gave us great advice. We would really recommend this place!

Bellissima struttura, pulita e ben curata. Dispone anche di una terrazza comune, la quale offre una splendida vista sul mare. Il personale è stato molto disponibile e cordiale. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

J’ai adore mon séjour sur l’île d’Ischia, nous n’y sommes resté que 1 nuit et c’était pas assez : je recommande au moins 2. L’emplacement est idéal pr visiter l’île (avec une voiture), l’hôte est adorable et vraiment accueillante. Elle nous a donné les coins à voir et les choses à faire, ainsi que des adresses de restaurants. On a même eu des citrons du jardin pour se faire la meilleure citronnade ! Vraiment je recommande les yeux fermé, vous ne serez pas déçu, bien accueilli et dépaysé par rapport à Naples !

What can I say about this slice of heaven? The view was the best I’ve seen. The little pool was perfect, the big outdoor table and bbq so inviting to use. Comfy beds, huge kitchen, clean bathroom. Just what me and my friend needed for a week’s holiday! A bit of a walk up a hill so be mindful of that. Easy to get there - ferry from Naples, then the no. 6 bus to Nik Bar (€14 for a week pass). 20 mins walk up to Trattoria Il Focolare (featured on Stanley Tucci’s programme) and 20 min walk down to Tenuta del Cannavale for a natural wine tasting. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Seguimos sin creer que lo primero que veíamos al despertar era el castillo aragonés, un sueño totalmente. Recomendamos mucho este alojamiento, tiene todas las comodidades que se necesitan para sentirte en casa. Mayra fue muy amable y siempre dispuesta a ayudarnos, incluso desde antes de pisar la isla ya nos había mandado varias recomendaciones y consejos.

Bel endroit. Nous n'avons pas eu beau temps tout le temps, pas pu profiter de la piscine, mais la maison est bien située et on peut, de chez Linda, aller voir la belle ile d'Ischia à la moindre éclaircie. Très bon conseils de restaurent (Linda a réservé pour nous), très authentique, et qui nous ont permis de visiter la montagne.

très jolie villa avec une vue incroyable sur Ischia et les îles environnantes. piscine super agréable. villa très spacieuse et relativement bien agencée. giovangiuseppe nous a bien accueilli, conseillé et même offert un petit déjeuner. on conseille vivement la maison bien qu'elle soit assez coûteuse

We had a wonderful stay in Ischia. The property was very unique and had amazing views. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. The pool was so refreshing after exploring all day. Prices on the island are very reasonable and I would suggest adding to your itinerary.

Exceptional host ! Agostino by far has been the most incredible host I’ve ever encountered. Professional, caring , attentive , charming , kind and friendly. Responsive at any time and hour of the day ( trusted me we bothered him a lot even at late hours at night ). The property is exactly as you see it in pictures , quite much bigger than what it looks like. Area is superb , walkable distance from The Port and other centro areas . Right in front the property there’s a fantastic restaurant. Agostino , scheduled a taxi pick up from the Ferry station as well our exit ( for a lower fare) he also booked a private boat tour to Capri in advanced and helped us to find a scooter rental place ( all some discount price ). Among other things he did I can thank him enough. The property is big enough for up to 6 people if sleeping in pairs . AC throughout the whole property ( that’s a plus for us spoiled Americans ) . Book here you won’t regret it. We will pick this place when we come back !

Had no problems with the casa and it looked exactly as pictured and described. Francesco was very responsive and helped us rent a scooter for the weekend to get around. The location is very peaceful and quiet, but a twenty minute walk from local restaurants and cafes, so I recommend renting a scooter or car, though most seem to be manual on the island. The property was very beautiful and well maintained.

Io e un gruppo di amici abbiamo deciso di trascorrere la giornata di pasquetta in questa residenza. Che dire, la cordialità e la gentilezza della signora Flora sono state impeccabili, così come la pulizia e lo stato della casa, pulita e curata nei minimi dettagli. Durante la giornata ci è sembrato di conoscere quel posto da sempre, era come essere a casa e la signora Flora non ci ha posto alcun limite, rendendo così il soggiorno piacevole e all’insegna del divertimento. Ritorneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo a chiunque voglia trascorrere una giornata fuori porta, visto anche lo spazio esterno che consente di organizzare pranzi e cene anche per gruppi numerosi. Gentilissimo anche il signore Entico, marito di Flora, che ci ha anche fornito una colomba per completare il menù della giornata. Consiglio vivamente di sostare qui.

Excellent emplacement de l’appartement, un appartement très équipé et très grand. Nous étions deux et nous avons été satisfait des bien-être qu’apporte l’appartement. Tout est accessible à pied, endroit, calme, paisible

We had a lovely holiday at Rosa's place. The nearby beaches / restaurants are walkable (5-10 mins), as is Forio town 20 mins away with more shops, culture, beaches and restaurants. Rosa's place was roomy for the two of us, with a kitchen that did us well for self catering a couple of meals a day. The bed was comfy (two singles together) and the view is amazing. It's nice and private, with a separate entrance to the top floor apartment. Rosa was super helpful all the way through our stay, from local recommendations, to arranging our collection from Forio port and help with booking a scooter, and sorting us out with a taxi on our departure day. There are a few local mini markets within walking distance but we'd recommend the one at the north end of Citara beach, it's a short walk from the apartment, and while a little pricey it was the best stocked. Other highlights of our stay were: Giardini Poseidon thermal spa; Sant'Angelo; beach at San Montano; Pithecusae Museum; Giardini Ravino.

Lovely villa in a fantastic location - which means you need a small car to navigate the lanes. Angela was lovely and friendly and didn't mind that I'd not asked for 2 single beds in one bedroom. We'd stay here again.

Superbe maison de plein pied avec magnifique jardin. Authentique et bien équipée et confortable. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Environnement calme. Attention les principales commodités sont à 1 km à pied. Prévoir d’avoir une voiture sur place.

We had such a lovely time here! The place looked exactly like the pictures and everything was with it a 10 minute walk. We will definitely be coming back again. Host was so so helpful and send us lots of recommendations of what to do.

La casa era molto accogliente, esattamente come descritta. Situata in una buona posizione, comoda per raggiungere facilmente i principali punti di interesse. Tutto era pulito e ordinato, e ho trovato ogni comfort necessario per un soggiorno piacevole. Esperienza davvero positiva, la consiglio!

Gaetano ist ein sehr sympathischer, hilfsbereiter und offener Gastgeber. Er hat mich bei der Anreise am späten Abend von der Fähre abgeholt und bei der Abreise wieder zur Fähre gebracht. Bezüglich der An- und Abreisezeiten war er sehr flexibel und großzügig. Den Kontakt mit ihm habe ich als sehr angenehm empfunden. Gerne hätte ich noch mehr über sein künstlerisches Schaffen erfahren. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön gelegen und insbesondere das Schlafzimmer schön eingerichtet. Die vielen Terrassen und Blumenwiesen bieten Möglichkeiten sich zu Sonnen und gleichzeitig die Möglichkeit in Stille die Aussicht zu genießen. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber insbesondere für Alleinreisende stellt das Angebot von Gaetano ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis dar. Ausgangspunkte für schöne Wanderungen sind fußläufig erreichbar. Öffentliche Nahverkehrsmittel fahren regelmäßig und sind gut erreichbar. Gegangen bin ich mit einem wunderschönen Blumenstrauß aus dem Garten und komme gerne wieder.

Sehr liebevoll und authentisch eingerichtete Wohnung nahe am Meer mit zwei kleinen Balkonen. In der Zeit die wir hier waren- Mitte November- super ruhig in einer autofreien Gasse.Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet,da macht es Spaß zu kochen.Wir konnten früher einchecken und es wurde sowohl bei der Anreise als auch bei der Abreise ein Taxi für uns organisiert.Kommunikation lief schnell und unkomliziert.Ischia Ponte ist in der Zeit jetzt Mitte November ein ruhiger verträumten Ort.Gerne kommen wir wieder.
