Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Cozy cottage in the countryside near Skara Sommarland

Enjoy the tranquility of the countryside in this classic red cottage. The cottage is located on our property where there is another residential building. Here you live perfectly if you want to visit the cranes at Lake Hornborga, historic Varnhem or thriving Vallebygden. Lilla Lilleskog is also a great stay when you want to visit Skara Sommarland 7 km away. Hiking trails and swimming lakes are within easy distance. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. You come to an air-conditioned studio, 28 m2 built in 2023. Large porch, 35 m2 that guests have at their disposal. You walk 200 m and can take a dip from the bathing jetty in Bottensjön. 5 km to Karlsborg's center, 50 m to 5 km of illuminated cross-country skiing trails. 20 km to Tiveden National Park. Comfortable holiday home with that little something extra. Close to swimming area, beautiful nature, golf course, Skövde and Skara Sommarland. The layout of the house is open and airy. The modern kitchen and inviting living room are situated in the open part of the house with an outstanding ceiling height. On the ground floor there is also a bedroom with a double bed (140 cm wide) and a toilet with shower. With a step ladder, you get up to the cozy sleeping loft that is equipped with two adjacent 90cm beds. Warmly welcome.

Forget about everyday worries in this spacious and peaceful space. Close to forest and nature. With a lakefront plot you can sit on the terrace and enjoy a wonderful view of Bottensjön and the fairway on Göta Kanal. You can go down to the jetty for a swim, but it is NOT the best swimming spot. Our home is centrally located between Tiveden's beautiful,mysterious nature. Söker ni en lantlig miljö med fantastiskt utsikt över Vättern? Då har ni hittat rätt! Känner inte till många stugor i Sverige där man kan se tre olika län från en och samma plats. Stugan har det mesta då det kommer till bekvämlighet. Fullutrustat kök, bäddsoffa, dubbelsäng och badrum. Därtill wifi och tv med Netflix etc. Utomhus finns ett trädäck med grill, bord samt stolar och utomhuseldstad. Har ni barn i sällskapet finns ytor att springa runt på, gunga samt åka rutschkana.

Welcome to Sörgården and our horse farm! Enjoy all four seasons from the top floor, with a stunning view of Lake Bottensjön to the west. This modern house from 2022 offers 45 sqm of living space. The apartment shares the building with two other units. Perfect for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. One bed is a sofa bed, which may not suit two adults. Feel free to book our floating sauna on the lake – 500 SEK per session. Relax and enjoy the unique tranquility by the water!

Welcome to Kärnebäcken. The house is located undisturbed on a cape in Bottensjön, with both morning and eveningssol. Here you can see the canal boats from Vättern on the way up in Göta Canal. Only 2 km bike path into Sweden's reserve capital Karlsborg, with Ida's pier and Karlsborg fortress that attracts. With the car, it takes about 20 minutes to Tiveden National Park with hiking trails and amazing nature. The house is 110 sqm and fully equipped. Great WiFi. An oasis!

The cottage is located a few meters from Östra Laxsjön with amazing views of the lake from the glazed outdoor space or the large sun deck. From the bathing jetty you can easily get via the swimming steps into the clear water for a bath or why not take a tour with the rowing boat included in the rental rental. Fishing, exploring the many small islands, or heading to the nearby campsite.
