There is a road all the way up to the cabin all year, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for tours in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountains. In winter there is cross-country skiing right behind the cabin, and you can put on alpine skiing right outside the cabin door and run to the alpine resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

Gamlestuga is a charming log cabin from the 1800s of about 50 sqm. It is located on the Søre Gjeilo farm in Skjåk municipality, 7 km from Lom. About 10 km from Bismo. Gamlestuga has a living room/kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a small hallway. One bedroom has a double bed and one has a bunk bed, 4 beds in total. There is Wi-Fi and a TV. Pets are welcome. Restored log house in rural area

Newly restored timber house. About 5 km from Lom towards Bøverdalen. We have tried to make the cabin a place for recreation with respect for the old building as it originally was. A new bathroom has been built. Quiet area and nice starting point for trips in Jotunheimen summer and winter.
