You’ll be driving past YurtCation (about 300 feet past YurtCation) to get to YurtSimple. YurtCation is 20’ in diameter and YurtSimple is 16’ in diameter. Wood and charcoal are provided. You may cook on the indoor wood stove top, or visit any number of great restaurants 2 miles away. You can even order pizza delivery

Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. Secluded yet only 10 mins from the fun town of Oregon. 100 acres of private property, bordering Lowden-Miller State Forest. Includes use of canoes/kayaks, large riverfront yard, grills, hammocks, deck, porch and firewood. $33/night per person or pet after first 2 people. The running stream makes this a wildlife refuge, with tons of birds, squirrels, rabbits, foxes and hawks. We are 420 friendly. Come experience the magic and make a special memory!
