Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Greenbrier River House

A cabin on the Greenbrier River at Keister only 20 minutes from downtown Lewisburg, the “River House” offers rustic decor but 21st century touches including wi-fi, Direct TV, etc. in a beautiful outdoor setting along the Greenbrier River. The "River House" is about an hour and a half from Snowshoe Ski Resort and from White Water rafting. With electric heat and a cozy fireplace, it is usable in all the seasons.

This is Cookie Top Mountain Chalet. We wanted to create a place where not only families, but also their fur babies could enjoy, although we do have a 2 dog maximum. To experience the elegance of the majestic views from our cabin, please plan for travel over a brief period of gravel roads. We recommend an SUV or front wheel drive capable vehicle.
