Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Franschhoek

What a wonderful time we had in Alex’s beautiful Higgovale House with its special atmosphere. A home from home we felt immediately at ease. The tropical gardens give the feeling of being in the midst of the jungle - despite being only minutes from the lively Kloof Street with its many restaurants and coffee shops (wine bar/coffee shop/deli Tamboerswinkel deserves a special mention). We felt very safe at night and enjoyed being able to access Cape Town‘s sights quickly. A highlight was our hike to Lions Head - again only a stone throw away from the house. Alex’s great communication throughout our stay was not surprising, given his friendly welcome and advice and whilst we didn’t stay long enough to get to know her, housekeeper Barbara also seemed very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

We had a fantastic stay at Carols place. We were in Franschhoek for a wedding and Carol place was comfortable and conveniently situated to everything.

Louise was fantastic from the comms before we arrived, when we arrived and until we left. Such a friendly host and willing to accommodate our needs as a family. The house itself was spotless and they thought of everything to make out stay enjoyable. I would 100% stay at this house again as we do visit SW almost yearly. I rented the house for my wife, two kids and some friends. We had a very great stay and a good time at the house. Everything was as expected and described by the owners. We had a very good communication with them before and during our stay. They are so lovely and helpful. Restaurants are close, also grocery store and a mall. The beach is just 7 minutes away by car and around 20-35min to downtown depending on traffic. Also once a week the house is cleaned with no extra charge. All together 5 Stars from us! Thank you very much.

I absolutely loved my time at this garden cottage. It was everything I needed for the Easter break and my dog had such a fun time sniffing about all the flowers. It had everything I needed inside it as well.

Denis was an exceptional host—friendly and responsive. The space was comfortable, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home. Thank you, Ryan and Kelly, for making our stay so memorable. Our large family felt very much at home and enjoyed the beautiful living areas and outdoors. Thank you too for organizing the porta cot and high chair for our grandchild who thoroughly enjoyed having lots of space and all the fun toys. Your home was exactly as described, and we felt safe and will certainly stay in your home again when we visit Cape Town.

Perfect location, walkable to the vibe of Kloof and Bree street, A short drive to all the epic beaches, so close to Table mountain hiking or cable car. Beautiful, quirkly victorian, the deck is outstanding with 360 degree views of city and mountains. Kids had a blast in the hot tub. Felt safe and secure. Hosts were responsive and gave us a tour of the house. House a little dark inside but you will want to spend all the time on the roof anyway. Found the kitchen a bit un-user friendly. Not much counter space and fridge far away. But you will want to braai/bbq outisde anyway and spoilt for choice with coffee shops just around the corner. Overall a really wonderful experience!

We enjoyed staying at Alison’s place - it was a perfect location for the cricket, with a great view onto the ground from the balcony. The place was secure, with Face ID required to enter the lift, which was set up by security on arrival. The place itself was well stocked with amenities, having everything that we needed for our stay. The rooftop pool and gym was a bonus, with incredible views from up there. Contact with the host was simple and clear. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in the Newlands area.

This is a great, comfortable apartment in a great central location. There are a number of great restaurants around and Heather had some great recommendations. If you have any business in or near the stadium, I would highly recommend this spot.

I communicated primarily with Johan during my stay. He was incredibly responsive and transparent. The apartment looked exactly as expected. The layout was thoughtful and there was plenty of closet space. I was traveling with my toddler and I loved that the patio provided a safe and very high enclosure for her to have a sense of freedom both indoor/outdoor while in my eyesight. Mind you that high enclosure did not compromise on the views of Table Mountain on the backdrop of a beautifully curated patio garden. Please note that garden must be watered and it’s on an automatic system so don’t forget your laundry on the line overnight like me LOL because you’ll be doing a second wash. The pool was amazing and often empty—again VIEWS and don’t forget to bring flip flops the tiles are slippery when wet. Externally, traveling alone with my daughter, I appreciated the multiple levels of security. The front desk was helpful. Co-working space around the corner and lots of restaurants nearby.

This was an extremely memorable stay for myself and the other guests. The view is breathtaking. It’s peaceful and quiet. The living area was comfortable. The host was friendly and very helpful. I will definitely be visiting again.

We had a lovely stay! The apartment is perfectly located right near the promenade and beach road, and is walking distance to most local restaurants. We were welcomed with great hospitality and had a very pleasant stay. I would recommend staying here.

Incredible location with a beautiful view on the waterfront. 10 minute walk to the V&A, great little apartment with all the necessities, felt very safe. Would highly recommend and stay here again, Ciska was very helpful and friendly, 10/10. :)

Great place, very safe, nice kitchen, cozy bedrooms, comfortable living room with access to terrace and barbecue grill, private and secure parking. Security 24/7 and cameras. 10 minutes walking distance from the beach and 3 minutes driving to supermarkets and restaurants

We had a beautiful stay, the place was clean and spacious in a great neighborhood. What you see on the photos is exactly what you get. The kitchen was clean with all the necessary things we needed. The place gives Penthouse vibes with a great views of the city. Communication was clear and proactive which made things easy for us. We could walk around and find great restaurants close by.

Liz’s place was spectacular in every way. Beautiful space, great location, immaculately clean, really just perfect in every way. We all remarked that we could easily live here. But even more impressive was how responsive and caring Liz was months before we arrived, from helping us with our itineraries, to making recommendations & even arranging a driver for airport transfers & day trips to wine country and the Cape of Good Hope. She was an amazing super super host! And special shout out to our driver/tour guide “Zee” from ATS who was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. Loved our 5 day stay in Cape Town & would definitely stay here again when we come back!
