Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Furnas

The house captivates with the wonderful view from the modern cube to the sea and the small island located in front of Vila Franca do Campo. The central location in the middle of the island of Sao Miguel is a great advantage. Furnas, Ribeira Grande and many hiking opportunities as well as the airport are in approx. half an hour by rental car . We felt very comfortable. The furnishings are lovingly designed.

I've stayed in hundreds of airbnbs and this was definitely one of the best. Even though it was just two of us, there was plenty of room for much larger groups. The apartment is centrally located and less than a 10 minute walk to the town and the beach. We had no issues finding parking in front of the apartment. The wifi worked great (~136Mbps) for two digital nomads that needed to have reliable internet. Guido was very accommodating and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Ponta Delgada

The house was clean and bigger than I expected. They had everything we needed. The back yard is gorgeous! Walk out to the ocean, have breakfast and listen to the waves. 20 minutes to Ponta Delgada, under an hour from anywhere on the whole island. Absolutely recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is lovely and the view is gorgeous. It was the perfect home base for our adventures in the Azores!

A peaceful, gorgeous location. Ocean views and local crops growing surrounding a lovely pool area. The unit was spacious and inviting. The sea pool was really amazing. We would definitely stay here again!

The personality of the hosts clearly emerges, it is furnished according to the Azores, high quality and beautiful. The hostess even surprised us with some treats from the island, so we could start the next morning with a great breakfast. We felt completely comfortable. It was incredibly clean and the amenities exceeded our expectations. The location is ideal, situated right by the sea and all sights are quickly reached by car. Parking is available right outside the door. Unfortunately, it is very noisy in the bedrooms as they face the main road. As of the end of October: The bakery in front of the door is no longer open.

Andre has a beautiful home and the location is amazing at the edge of the lake in Sete Cidades! The views from the livingroom, dining room and front porch were amazing of the lake and surrounding mountains! There are many hiking paths to walk to and/ or bike to and/or drive your car to. We just loved all the wood tables, countertop and carvings. Beautiful! The home was well appointed, comfortable and perfect on the lake! There is a very delicious bread kitchen to get fresh out of the oven bread. We were provided with an amazing welcoming basket of goodies that included yogurts, granola, milk, butter, local rosemary honey, local sweet rolls, local pineapple, apples, oranges, local cheese and a bottle of wine!!!! And to top it all off there are bikes and kayaks to use! Definitely recommend staying at Andre’s home!

Very comfortable two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment made family visit comfortable for everyone. So helpful to have washing machine. Space heaters were efficient for the cool, rainy days since there is no central air or heat. Beds comfortable. Sofia is very responsive when we faced a minor issue and it was immediately addressed. Great views of the Atlantic from the deck. Super place, great host, we will be back!

We had party of 4 people arrived in the evening. Duarte came to the apartment greeting us and showed us the apartment where things are. Based on our schedule, he provided detailed recommendations on where to go, activities of each day, do and don’t, local restaurants and specialty food to try. All very helpful information! Thank you Duarte! The apartment is conveniently located, walkable to local bakeries and restaurants., has a parking space.

Sandra’s Airbnb was very clean and very comfortable . We were able to walk to restaurants and the downtown core so the location was great! Would highly recommend to other guests and Sandra was very accommodating .

Cristina's place was perfectly located in the centre of town . Walking distance to everything you need . The apartment was very clean and fully equipped. Would definitely recommend this place . Thank you .

We loved Isabel’s historic, spotlessly clean apartment with access to a private outdoor door space. It was in the old part of town and with in walking distance to museums, harbour, and market. Isabel was gracious and accommodating. We loved our stay here.

Great place to stay. Her place was about 20-25 min walk to the waterfront. Supermarket was close by. Very convenient! Nice view from the window. Quiet.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It is well furnished and very clean. Especially the kitchen is spacious for a vacation apartment and amazingly well furnished, there is about an induction stove. As much as we enjoyed going out, we always enjoyed cooking with regional products and fresh fish from the farmers market just a 10-minute walk away. The location is very central. The only drawback was the somewhat noisy street, but you could still sleep well with the windows closed. For ventilation, you can leave the window in the kitchen open to the quiet courtyard. The neighbors, probably also tourists from another apartment, were also occasionally noisy, but we just had some bad luck. Overall a good stay, we would book again.

Our stay was great! The apartment was very nice and cozy. The location of the apartment is ideal for exploring the city on foot and taking excursions. Also the amenities are very good, the towels were very fluffy and clean and also the tips for the area were helpful and good. We would come back and absolutely recommend the apartment.

We absolutely loved our stay. Claudia’s place is fantastic! The linens, pillows, and beds were fantastic. The bathroom showers were exceptional! Plus, there were plenty of hooks to hang towels. The kitchen had everything we needed for a quick meal and coffee in the morning that we enjoyed in the outdoor common area with a living wall. Parking in the garage was a huge bonus, and the remote opening of the garage door and gate was very easy to use. The location was perfect! Each night we’d walk down to a restaurant for dinner and during the day, it was easy to get around the island for various experiences. We highly recommend Claudia’s place. Adorámos a nossa estadia. I had a wonderful stay In David’s home. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. Check in and parking was very easy. The new Air Conditioning systems in each room were a nice bonus.

We stayed at Maria’s place for one week with our 11 month old baby as she provided all (and more) of the baby essentials (high chair, pack and play, baby bath, towel, shampoo, etc.). Many additional amenities and extras were provided which were appreciated, including a dropped off breakfast one morning. Overall, we loved our time at Maria’s place, having access to guaranteed, private parking was a huge plus! The only downfall was that for the first couple of days there was a musty smell, which dissipated throughout the week. Maria was very responsive and allowed us to check in several hours ahead of the listed time, which was great as we had an overnight flight!

Very comfortable. The apartment is on the ground floor, with a private parking space. The internet is fast and there is a computer desk. Ideal for digital nomads. There's an AC and heating. You can walk to António Borges Garden and Parque Atlântico (mall). Marco is very friendly.

This place was perfect for expansive views and a great location relative to the busy areas and restaurants!
