A 6km walk around the lake, or if you are feeling adventurous, a 3 hour hike up Mount Benson and its amazing views are nearby. Only three km to downtown, & float planes to Vancouver. Located on Active Pass, the spectacular marine passage separating Galiano and Mayne islands, InTheBluff - Galiano’s Oceanside Log House offers one of the most stunning outlooks in the Southern Gulf Islands. With 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed it accommodates up to 4. Recent changes with the Iocal governance (Islands Trust) necessitates additional accommodation be developed on the same property as a STVR. An owner's cottage is currently being constructed, well removed from the log house.

Our approx. 600 sq. ft. suite is on the lower level of our home. We offer a private entrance, one private bedroom, a private bath( with shower, toilet and sink/vanity), microwave oven, fridge, eating and relaxing areas, large tv, wifi and the use of a private patio, small lawn area and barbeque. Parking is available for one regular size vehicle. No smoking or partying. No pets. Please be advised that we are not set up for infants or children so the suite is for adults only.
