Arrival on foot in 10 minutes by a pretty path through the woods.

You can hike right away from home and get on foot onto a network of trails connecting to the GR.10 and the Spanish border. Jump in cold waterfalls and streams or go for mushroom or blueberry picking.

Hikes for everyone are accessible from the chalet, and in the evening, a beautiful flare will illuminate your evenings. Our animal friends are welcome and charged 50 euros have an enclosed garden. Welcome to Playras! Come and recharge your batteries in this tiny hamlet, a little piece of heaven perched at 1100 m altitude, facing south. Stunning views of the Spanish border chain. This hamlet is made up of about fifteen old barns, each more beautiful than the last, giving it an indefinable charm! The GR de Pays (Tour du Biros) passes in front of our house. Multiple hikes possible without taking your car. We'll be happy to let you know!

Gîte Maëline in Galey

Located in the hamlet of Orchein, in the typical village of Galey, in the Ariégeoises Pyrenees Regional Nature Park, our gîte will welcome you for a relaxing stay. It has outdoor access (unfenced) with a sheltered terrace. It is located in a village, which includes many hiking trails. Comfortable, warm, with stunning views of the Couserans mountains, this is the perfect place to recharge and explore the surroundings.

La Grange de Coumes between Arreau and Loudenvielle

Nestled between the Aure and Louron valleys, this secluded barn offers you peace and quiet while being close to Loudenvielle and Saint-Lary. Access will be on foot, on a path of about 300 meters. Solar panels supply the barn with electricity, an opportunity to change your habits. The barn is heated only by a wood-burning stove. A Nordic bath will allow you to relax and enjoy the nature around you.
