Puzzles Accommodation – UNIT 1

Hosting the largest dam in the country, the town makes for an interesting halfway stop between Johannesburg and Cape Town / Port Elizabeth. Puzzles is situated on the edge of the “koppie” and is focused primarily on the overnight traveller. Each unit contains two 3-quarter beds, and a good quality double sleeper couch. Guests have their own entrance. Each unit has an en-suite bathroom with a separate bath and shower. Locked parking is provided behind palisade gates.

Farmers Cottage Bethulie

The beautiful decorated luxury farm style cottage is an open plan self catering unit complete with fire place, a fully equipped kitchen, queen size bed, bathroom with shower. A large stoep with breathtaking views, private garden and access to the pool at the main guesthouse, Karoo Pandok. It is also pet friendly, fully fenced but we do charge a fee of R75.00 extra per pet which is payable on arrival. Please discuss with your host.

The Aloes guest house

The Aloes Guest House offers spacious comfortable accommodation in a fully furnished self-catering unit. The unit comprises of 1 bedroom and can accommodate 4 guests at a time. The Aloes is set on a koppie, overlooking the historical town of Bethulie offering a beautiful view of the Hennie Steyn bridge and the Lake Gariep . For peace and mind the property has good security with electric fencing and ample under roof parking.

With your stay you will experience nature at its best- with beautiful sunsets, starry skies and farm animals grazing on the fields surrounding the farm. Hoek Huis is a grand old Karoo lady set on the historic Tobie Muller Street. The house can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms and has 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering. The private patio is set under an 80-year old vine.
