Vacation rentals with lake access in Gaston County

The stay was amazing. Location is EVERYTHING. It’s such a beautiful house on the lake. We got married 2 minutes down the road at Camelot Meadows. You can see the venue from the kitchen window. We made last minute decision to bring our dog and that was no issue at all. I cannot recommend this house enough. I’d move in yesterday if I could. 100/10 recommend

I can’t begin to describe how beautiful this house was and how well kept it was. The scenery is also beautiful and quiet. The neighbors are also so nice and welcoming! I would recommend all of my friends and family to book a stay here and I look forward to book again soon in the summer! Thank you lovely spaces!

We enjoyed an early family Christmas with our adult children at this lovely home. There was ample space for all six of us to dine, relax, playing games, etc. We even found out what we needed in the kitchen to make our traditional Xmas cookies together. It was well equipped. The yard is very nice and if there had not been a bit of a cold snap, I think we all would have taken advantage of the outdoor space more. I think this would be a very nice retreat in warmer weather. Michael was very communicative and accommodating, offering up and early check in and late check out since there were no other guests around our reservation. Our stay was a pleasant experience.

The home was absolutely beautiful! We had plenty of room and Mike even allowed us to check in early. There was a problem with the hot water for most of the day when we first checked in but Mike took care of it fast as he could. The master bedroom has feathered pillows, so if your like me and allergic you may want to bring you own. Only things I could critique on is the cleaners should be paying attention to the outside balcony. It was full of pollen so I had to try and sweep as much as I could to even sit out there. Also, the AC…I would set the thermostat at a comfortable setting (69-70) it would always change back to 72-74 and once to 82. I am not sure if the owner is watching it and switching it or what but it got very warm at night so we ended up crashing on the couch under the ceiling fans. After playing cat and mouse with the thermostat throughout the day and all night we decided to just checkout a day early and sleep where it was cool. Other than that it was a great stay.

My wife and I took my two boys and my parents on a little vacation for a few days the day after Christmas. The house on the lake and location right outside of Charollete was perfect. The boys and I got to fish with my pops right off the back dock. We were close to all kinds of things to do around the Charollete area. Erin was super quick to respond with any questions we had. Would love to plan a trip back during summer to be able to use the lake more.

This place was exactly what we were looking for: a quiet, peaceful and relaxing getaway. The beds are extremelly comfy, the house was super clean, communication was fast and easy… and the owner was super detail oriented about everything… I strongly recommend this property as a 5 stars place.

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. Great great great stay! Everything was perfect except the internet for my boyfriend! They got that fixed after a couple days though and no problems after that! Loved it would love to stay again!

Beautiful lakeshore area and close to downtown Davidson. Great spot and wonderful hosts.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The unit had anything you could possibly need. Was great not having to run to the store to get this or that as they already had everything available. Very clean!

I have used James many times now to lodge employees from Minnesota while attending training in the Charlotte area. All aspects of our interactions have been EXCELLENT! My employees request to stay there versus a hotel. The amenities, cleanliness, location, and peacefulness of the lake far out weigh anything a local hotel can offer. He's always the first place we look to book. 100% recommended.

This apartment is spacious and comfortable. Nice view and patio. Quick drive to Davidson Main Street. Close to highway. Nice touches like plenty of coffee, tea, trial size toiletries. Wi-Fi worked great. Host responded quickly and I was happy that they didn’t proactively send us a ton of messages checking on us. I also liked that check out was just lock up and leave. No list of chores. 😅 We will stay here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This lakeside get-a-way was just as described. As we barely left the property, everything we needed was at out finger tips. Danielle was proactive from the onset and a great host. We will be back!

Stunning and peaceful. Such a beautiful oasis. My friend and I stayed one night and didn’t want to leave. The view from inside the cabin is also amazing. The hosts were so responsive and generous. Don’t hesitate to book here!

We enjoyed our visit! The cottage was cozy and close to restaurants and Lake Norman. Mooresville Downtown was quaint and fun - definitely will try and make it out again soon!

Our son is way into fishing-the dock was exactly what we were looking for. LeeAnn is an incredible host, answered any and all questions and the place was exactly as she described. We already know that we will be back and can’t wait to plan our next visit.

Can’t say enough about Zack’s home. It was the perfect spot for a quiet, peaceful but also incredibly fun getaway! The house was just as pictured (if not better). It was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The deck was perfect for relaxing the sun as well as a tasty dinner on the grill. The bonus bar room provided many competitive & fun rounds of darts while keeping up with sports games on tv. The dock was the perfect relaxation spot. Our boys also used it to fish from and also jumped in a few times. We took advantage of both the kayaks and the boat rental. SOO fun!! Zack’s dad, Jeff, explained everything needed to use the boat. He was extremely friendly and helpful. We had the best time, felt right at home and created a ton of fun family memories here. Definitely hope to visit again!

This was the best airbnb we have stayed! Andrea was very accommodating, very personable. It was awesome staying at a place that embraces having your dogs with you. What a great stay - didn’t fully understand or appreciate “lake life” until we stayed at this house. The views are stunning, the private dock is really cool, lots of stuff to play with like kayaks and a big Lilly pad for kids. The house is adorable, very well decorated, spotlessly clean with comfy beds and nice linens, and extremely well equipped including a chemex and French press for coffee, lots of cooking tools etc. overall a great stay.
