Cabin vacation rentals in Gausdal Municipality

An attentive host and very quick to respond. Very comfortable house for groups of up to 10 people (not suitable if couples want intimacy, there is only one double bedroom). Quiet place with good views. In winter there is a responsible consumption of the water if you do not want to have problems. We were a group of 10 ice climbers and had no problem. When we return to the Lillehammer area we will stay at Vinh's place again

We found a great cottage where everything at least corresponded to the photos and descriptions! Everything well organized and communicated! We felt very comfortable in the cozy atmosphere! We'd love to come back sometime!

Really nice cabin with really good amenities. Very nice, smooth and friendly communication with Sturle. We were two adults and two big kids, and we'd love to come back. We enjoyed both the cabin and the area.

We had a wonderful time at Erik’s cabin! The cabin is very comfortable for two families. The children especially enjoyed the upstairs ‘den’. We loved spending time in the jacuzzi and around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows. The Skeikampen ski centre is only a 5 minute drive away and a supermarket is nearby. Thank you for letting us stay in the cabin!

Very nice cottage and exemplary reception. The beds in the loft are without storage space, which should be considered if there are to be many in the cabin.

We booked the property in February - for ice fishing and skiing. The place was very clean and cozy, nothing was missing. We found the fireplace particularly cozy in the evening. The house is authentically lovingly decorated in Scandinavian style and has great views of the lake and the mountains from almost every window! Very nice location directly on the lake. Perfect for skiing as several trails are available almost from the front door. The homeowners welcomed us in a very friendly way, gave many valuable tips on activities and were quickly available for questions. We would love to come back!

We were pleasantly surprised about this wonderful cabin with a magnificent view. The cabin has everything you need, and feels very cozy. The views from the house and terrace to the valley are something to remember as special. It is a very quite place. You have lots of possibilities to walk (a few close to the cabin, others starting from the nearby villages in Gausdal). Troels and Tone were very responsive to our questions. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and left with nice memories.

Nina and Øystein's cottage is very romantic: small and simple, but super cozy. It has everything you need and is in a beautiful, quiet landscape. Ideal for those who love cross-country skiing and nature. Øystein was easily accessible and very helpful. We'd love to come back!

We had a lovely weekend at the cabin! Amazing views and really nice inside. Perfect for nice days in the sun and cozy dinners with friends in the evening. Thank you for having us over.

The house was beautiful, super equipped, very modern, new and well located. Everything was well described, only the directions could be a little more accurate as it was relatively difficult for us to find. Miles of information on the trails and a map or image would be very helpful. But communicating with Line and Frode worked perfectly. They were able to help us quickly. Unfortunately, we could only use the freezer to a limited extent because it was full of other things. Otherwise everything was great. Highly recommended. We will be happy to come back.

An incredibly cozy place. With a view of an ecologically run farm with goats, hens to use horse to plow the ground. Gifted a chèvre cheese that was made on the farm. It tasted heavenly and guess if we should drive by and buy cheese when we drive by! We had a great time and will be back in the future. The minus was that GPS showed incorrectly, I'm local known so it went very well. But important for those who are not locally known🙂 Reidun

Soups lovely cabin with a good setting for a lovely family holiday (also including a possible dog) - both for ski trips or summer trips around the Norwegian mountains.

Nice cabin and beautiful surroundings.

Absolutely stunning views from your window and terrace. We even were so lucky to see the aurora, cannot describe it! The peace and comfort you will find at this place is unmatched. New cabin, equipped with everything you need. All wintersports activities close-by, partly even walking distance (Skeikampen). You can charge your car directly at the cottage, while you enjoy the sauna or the fireplace in- or outside. The cottage has a good location in a higher position so snow is almost guaranteed. Oh, almost forgot: Communication, checkin etc. was flawless, all clear and helpful. PS: Check for the special feature on the right side of the terrace at night (you have to use the plug)!

We have had a very nice holiday in Beate’s cottage. Very morden, cosy and clean place to stay. Not far from Hafjell ski resort and grocery stores.

We were lucky enough to spend nine days in this fantastic cabin. The cabin is spacious, cozy, and offers everything you want for a perfect stay in Norway. The living area is a feel-good place: a large sofa that calls to snuggle in, and a beautiful wooden table where we spent sociable hours. The kitchen is well equipped and cooking is fun with a gas stove. The heart of the cabin is the large fireplace and wood stove. With both we had it muggy warm even at crisp minus degrees – the perfect place after a day in nature. And then the amazing view! Whether during the day, when the Norwegian mountains shine in the winter sun, or in the evening when we sat in front of the cabin and looked at the stars despite the chirping cold. Thanks to the warm nature of the hosts, we felt welcome. The cabin is highly recommended!
