Low ceilings & compact bathroom, but full kitchen and parking for one car. Non-smokers only. No pets - out of consideration for future guests. Guests must be able to climb stairs to access apartment. Air conditioning is available during the summer season.

This is a beautiful, brand-new cabin in a quiet wooded setting with nature trails in historic Mesopotamia, Ohio. We are about 45 minutes from Youngstown and Cleveland. Amenities include coffee, tea, juice, soda, cereals, snacks, pancake mix, and even maple syrup gathered in our own local woods. Relax and unwind at the end of the day in our whirlpool for two. Or sit on the porch and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of nature. Continental breakfast only. Outdoor campfire with firewood provided.

The Old Postal Cottage

*Note: feel free to inquire about availability for dates not listed as open on calendar. The Old Postal Cottage, built in the 1840s, was the Parkman post office until mid 2018. It was completely renovated, and it is now a tiny house, located within an Amish community in Northeast Ohio. It has a private entrance, and is a cozy space, perfect for a getaway in the country, with access to all major roads and an easy commute to Cleveland, Youngstown, Akron, and many tourist attractions.

Unit is approximately 2000 sq. ft. and, very good neighbors. We've added several upgrades since September 1, 2024. We now offer 2 TVs, more food, and more useful products for our guests. We will continue to upgrade, and we take our guest's suggestions and advice seriously. It helps us make our guest more comfortable and that's what we strive for. We ask all guests to not move or rearrange the furniture. There is a fee for furniture resetting, and also to protect the floors.

Laundry in the lower level of the home and plenty of parking in the private driveway. For EV customers, there is an uninsulated two car garage available for additional charge.
