Georgia’s place is a gem! The cottage is preceded by a nice courtyard with a fragrant orange tree. The cottage itself is wonderfully decorated and has a beautifully warm and cosy color palette. Georgia clearly pays great attention to every detail connecting the history of the cottage to modern living. Highly recommended!

We were gifted with a wealth of goodies to enjoy… jams, olive oil, raki, wine, olives, all home made AND when the unusual heatwave struck, Mihail installed air conditioned from one day to the next!! we enjoyed it and I’m sure this is a great addition to comfort at beautiful Villa Strata for future guests. Our long-term stay in Gergeri facilitated our exploration of the Island from the geographical center, a 35 minutes drive to the nearest beach on the south, 45 minutes to Heraklion on the north and many beautiful and surprising places around. We were confortable and strategically located. This is a cultural-immersive-exploration kind of place for travellers interested in going beyond the “walk-to-the-beach-every-day” experience.

The little village of Plouti is an amazing and unique location. I wish we could have stayed longer. There was a plumbing issue during our stay, but Aris was responsive and did what he could to get it sorted out. There is the added bonus for cat lovers, many friendly cats can be found in the neighborhood.

excellent stay. very clean. large rooms. comfortable. very well equipped. warm welcome. We enjoyed the terrace for breakfast and the evening. We also really enjoyed the welcome of the people of the village (tavernas, shops, kafenio...). A lot of opportunities for walks around and oil and wine tastings (in addition to those offered by Chrysoula:-)
