Stay in newly remodeled Community School

Idyllic Storvik is a small village at the end of Nordland coast in the middle of Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are oceans, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old grend school that we in our family have converted into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very light, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you would rather relax on the beach and enjoy nature in the distance it is fully possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

At Stia you can stay in scenic and tranquil surroundings with views of the fjord and mountains. Here you can enjoy silence under the starry sky and northern lights, or simply have lazy days on the beach "Stia" located just below the cottage. You can also enjoy the hot tub in summer as well as winter. If you want speed and excitement, there are many possibilities: Alpine hiking in Glomfjord, walking on Svartisen, skiing in the Meløy Alps, island hopping along the Helgeland coast and more. The apartment is located on venerable Jæra in Glomfjord, here you can find tranquility with fire in the fireplace and enjoy a fantastic view with fjords and mountains as the nearest neighbors. Sit inside and enjoy good food and drink while it blows like the worst outside. Or, you could go out and experience fresh northern Norwegian air and nature up close in all kinds of weather. Here it is a short drive to fjords and mountain lakes for those who want to try your luck at fishing or just go for a long hike.

Amazing cabin property with spectacular sea views.

The cabin is located 100m from the parking lot. From here there is a relatively steep ATV road down to the cabin (100m) and further down to the sea (50 m). ATV is available for transportation of people and goods from parking space to the cabin. By the sea is boathouse w/quay, landing and floating jetty. Naustet is a fantastic recreational area. There are large outdoor areas, table/chairs, fire pans and life vests. Newer boat available for rent during the summer months, either for cozy trips or for fishing.

Lille Herstrand - A unique seaside getaway

Lille Herstrand is an eldorado for nature lovers. With beaches and a sauna with views of the Northern Lights and Midnight Sun, you can enjoy a unique stay with us. We include kayaks in the rental and offer boat rental. There are several attractive fishing spots nearby. Indoors, you can enjoy the comfortable slate floor with underfloor heating and the fireplace in the living room. From the mountains you can see the archipelago, the ice cap and all the way to Lofoten. You are welcome!

Family cottage in a great location and view

Great cabin for a family trip or a walk with your girlfriend. Peaceful and quiet in lovely surroundings. The cabin is about 1h and 15min away from Bodø Good cabin standard with running well water, hot water and shower. The toilet is indoors in the bathroom and bio toilet type. Private barbecue area where the fireplace can be enjoyed in both rain and sun. Wood is brought or can be purchased by the host for NOK 200 per 40l sack

Kjøkkenbord med stoler og romslig bad med dusj. Vannbåren gulvvarme gir behagelig jevn temperatur.

Restored and charming seahouse from 1965. Brightly decorated house of 35 m2, with 2 small bedrooms on the loft. Living room has a dining area and a reading area. Sofabed for extra guests. Modern kitchen with dishwasher, fridge / freezer, and bathroom with toilet and shower. Outside area with garden furniture and campfire pan. Yacuzzi can be rented for an extra fee on 600,- for a weekend or 800,- by the week.
