Idyllic Storvik is a small village at the end of Nordland coast in the middle of Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are oceans, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old grend school that we in our family have converted into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very light, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you would rather relax on the beach and enjoy nature in the distance it is fully possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

Single room with own entrance

We live on the countryside. Its 6 km to grocery-store, bistro, train and bus. Its 45 min by car to Bodø city, and almost 20 min to Fauske city. If you like nature, we have a nice view, and a lot of places to enjoy! In the summer vi have daylight 24/7. In winter its darker, and if the weather is good, we have northern light. A nice quiet quiet spacious cabin. In the sanitary room at the back of the house is the guest bathroom with shower and toilet. There is possibility to cook an easy meal, and more. Godøynes has everything for walks to the beach, in the woods, and to views. but a visit to Saltstraumen at 5 km. is also worthwhile, or a visit to the town of Bodø 15 km.
