Here you are surrounded by high mountains, a lake, rivers and waterfalls. The area are good for trout fishing, and it's possible for the guests to rent a boat during the summer. If you like hiking, there are many great routs in the area. If you just are looking for silence and beautiful scenery, just sit down and enjoy!

Høyseth is a hidden gem located in the far end of Stardalen valley at the gateway to Jostadal glacier national park. The camping is an excellent starting point for hiking trips to Haugabreen glacier, Oldeskaret and Briksdalen during summer and Snønipa(1827m) for back country skiing in winter and spring.
