Vacation rentals with a pool in Gloucester

We had a lovely stay at Ann’s house. We arrived to a generous welcome packet of essentials and snacks and two lovely bottles of Prosecco. The house is old with lots of character but the facilities are modern and work well. We stayed at the end of April but the pool was heated for us and we used it every day, we were thankful for the hot tub to warm up on the more overcast days! The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with plates and glasses for entertaining and the Aga and bbq worked well. If you have small children I would recommend bringing plastic crockery as there wasn’t much of that. We would definitely look to come back if we are in the area.

This was our third stay at Lois’s place, albeit the first in the eco house, as opposed to the barn. The house was both comfortable and quirky, qualities we have come to expect from our charming and artistic hosts. Unusual pictures, books, design features - one is entertained at every turn, while the leafy surroundings (the beautiful garden and driveway as well as Redland Green itself) make it all worthwhile. Lois or her husband Paul are always on hand to help you with any questions and have a chat with you at the same time. We heartily recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for something a bit different and off the beaten track yet within walking distance of decent shops, cafés and restaurants.

An unforgettable stay for a special occasion! We booked this house for my sisters 40th Birthday celebrations and it did not disappoint! About a 20-minute drive from Cardiff which was convenient when venturing out for food and drinks (I would advise pre booking travel as we got stung on return taxis) The check-in was very friendly and informative. The host made sure we had all the details we needed, and the process was smooth and hassle-free. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was just as described in the listing with plenty of space and thoughtful touches that made the stay even more special. Everything you could need was provided, including a well-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and toiletries. The place had all the essentials, and it was clear the host put a lot of care into making sure everything was available. It was calm and peacfu. Easy to walk arround, plenty activty available. Really enjoyed my stay. The roof top make it unique from most airbnb. Just be careful of the duck poo on the grass when open the French window. Little attention is need on that specially if you go with kids. Overall it was a good stay.

A stunning house in a lovely complex. Absolutely perfect for families with kids.

We celebrated a 90th and 58th birthday and a baby announcement so it was a perfect place for a family group of 10. The house was beautiful and met all our expectations and more. Everything we needed was there we only had to take food. The house was in peaceful surroundings with plenty of space. We particularly enjoyed the basement games room. The swimming pool was not available but looked as though it would be a great on a hot summers day. The cats were very friendly and cute but we had to keep them out of the house so difficult if the weather is hot and you want doors and windows open. All in all it is a beautiful, very large house in peaceful surroundings. Thank you, we loved it.

We had a really lovely stay at Marion's barn conversion. It has a well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom, comfortable sofas - very nice set up, would definitely recommend. We really enjoyed playing tennis on the tennis court. Only disappointment was not being allowed to use the fireplace which hadn't been clear when booking.

Fabulous location, beautiful, bright & well maintained apartment. The pictures speak for the apartment and the amenities within the estate. I would like to speak more about the hosts, Jane has been very welcoming since the time we booked the property for our Easter weekend stay. Had been in touch regarding the bed room arrangements and informed us to book the amenities ahead of our stay so we get a slot. When I informed her that we did not manage to get the slot, she went in person to make the bookings on our behalf. What a lovely gesture! The day we check-in, Jane's clear instructions helped in locating the property without any issue. I had to contact Jane to inform that our 8 year old was looking for youtube in TV and reg the gaming console remote. In the next 5 mins, her husband was there to sort it all out for us which we really didn't expect. They are such lovely hosts doing everything possible to ensure their guests get what they expect. We'll definitely visit again!

Annabel's place is absolutely amazing! Very comfortable and immaculate. We loved the view and exploring the surroundings more than the last time we stayed. Annabel was happy to help with any questions but had provided such good information before arrival that we didn't have any.

Lovely accommodation. Even nicer than pics! Had everything we needed to cook simple meals.

We had a wonderful stay in Combe Hay at Georgina’s apartment and didn’t want to go home! The village and countryside around it was perfect for long walks with the dog, followed by a pint of local cider at the Wheatsheaf across the road. The apartment had everything we needed, was warm and comfortable and the courtyard becomes a sun trap when the weather is good. I would definitely recommend staying here and the late check-out as standard is ideal for a leisurely departure.

We had a wonderful stay at Strove Cottage while visiting the Cotswolds. The place was beautiful, spotless, and very relaxing, especially with the pool out back. The breakfast hamper was a delicious touch, Ros & Hugh were so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the Cotswolds or just need a peaceful getaway. Thank you for a lovely stay!
