Vacation rentals in Gondomar

Great place to stay was clean and relaxing and the pool was great for the family. The host was very helpful and friendly, informed us of local restaurants and events in the area including a medieval festival that was taking place whilst we were there. Communication was easy, was more than happy to help. Thank you again!

We stayed for more than a week at Manuela's place and had a great time. Manuela and her son Daniel were very welcoming from the check-in till then end of the stay (thanks for the delicious port wine!). The house is better than the pictures - cozy living room, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and lovely garden ... with a hot tub! Porto old city is 20mins drive, Aveiro is 40mins and Douro Valley is around 1.20mins from the place. There is a lovely restaurant by the river around 500mts away. Steep down and uphill walk but amazing views and very good traditional Portugese food. Good to have own transport (you can park inside or on the street) but there is a bus stop just few feet away from the house (we didn't use it as we had our own car). Overall a lovely stay. Notre séjour s'est très bien passé, Joana a eu de très belles attentions pour nous.on s'est sentis comme à la maison, la maison est parfaite très bien placée et très bien équipée. Même les voisins sont adorables. Vraiment ravie de notre choix.

A Carla e o António foram os melhores anfitriões que poderíamos ter desejado. Amigáveis, prestáveis, fazendo com que nos sentíssemos imediatamente em casa. A casa está linda e a quinta maravilhosa, longe de tudo, o que faz com que seja o espaço ideal para descansar e passar uns belos dias. Os animais simpáticos foram a cereja no topo do bolo, a nossa bebé adorou!

Estuvimos en Semana Santa un grupo de amigos. Estuvo en todo momento pendiente y disponible para lo que necesitáramos, la casa muy bonita y acogedora; la finca espectacular, una pena la lluvia por no poder usar la piscina, con anfitriones así da gusto viajar, 100% recomendable. Deseando volver Gracias Ricardo por todo!

We stayed for four days at the residence of fransisco with a group of five young males. In advance of our arrival the contact with both fransisco and his wife went so smooth, they almost responded immediately. When we arrived at the residence we got an more than warm welcome, we were greeted by fransisco and his wife who gave us a tour and told us everything we wanted to know about the house and garden. Our stay was perfect, the pool was amazing and the temperature of the water was good, we played a lot of soccer in the garden or on the football pitch which could get a little warm when barefoot. Had a small inconvenience but we could solve this with the host almost immediately. In conclusion we had an excellent stay and loved the residence and would definitely recommend fransisco as a host and the residence as well!

This villa exceeded our expectations, and was well appointed to accommodate our needs. We were two families totally 4 adults and 4 kids, and the size was perfect. Outdoor amenities were great, including pool, bathhouse, picnic and barbecue area. The property was very private, and there was a Marina Bar next door that has great food (the burger is one of the best I've had). The only two downsides, which didn't impact my rating was that the wifi didn't work well (I had my own hotspot, and you might want to disconnect) and the beds are firm (seems common in Portugal, because we had a very similar experience at another place). We were looking for a place that was central to northern Portugal, and this worked out great (less then 30 mins to Porto). Being right on the Duro river was very relaxing. We were also able to experience folk dancing (rancho) next door at the marina one night, which was a great cultural experience.
