Waterfront vacation rentals in Grad Korčula

Our stay at Ana's house was phenomenal. we stayed only for 4 nights and were really sad to leave this paradise. right outside our door was an incredible view of the sea and mountains, it felt surreal to step outside and drink a glass of wine to the beautiful surroundings. We started our days swimming in the warm water right outside our door and eating breakfast on the cute balcony. The place is short walking distance to many restaurant, grocery stores, beautiful beaches, Wineries and everything you need in Lumbarda. we were surprised by how perfect the location while keeping a very affordable price for it. We had everything we needed in the house, Kitchen was perfectly equipped, Bathroom was very convenient, and the house was very well lighten with natural light from the windows. Ana and her daughter were very welcoming, super friendly and helpful. they took care of anything we needed right away and even offered to order us a taxi or drive us! This place felt like home.

Beautiful location . Took time to get used to th noises of the fridge as it was all in one room and also the church bells every hour but the location was great. Not far from Korcula and was very peaceful

Ervin’s father met us on arrival & took us through the apartment, showed us everything we needed to know & then took the time to give us some local intel on restaurants. He was absolutely charming. The view from the bedroom windows is incredible & just walking out the front door with a cup of tea or glass of wine & sitting beside the water was an added bonus. You can swim straight out the front of the building! It’s not a modern apartment so if you want something luxurious keep looking! It’s quirky with old creaky floorboards and a small hot water system but it has a rustic charm, comfortable beds, a back terrace and in a great location. We loved it (couple in our 60’s) & would definitely stay again & had no problems walking from the ferry to Ervin’s place with our bags.

We recently spent our vacation at an Airbnb apartment on Korčula, and we were absolutely delighted with our experience. The apartment itself was truly wonderful – newly furnished with a touch of homeliness and a welcoming ambiance. It had everything we needed, from the kitchen to the bathroom, all well-equipped for our stay. We especially want to commend our hosts, who were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Such kind hosts are rare to find. From the sweet welcome treats to daily indulgences with local delicacies, and even shared dinners with our wonderful hosts, we felt genuinely at home and very welcome. The location of the apartment was perfect for a peaceful retreat, situated in a quiet area with a beautiful local beach just below the apartment. The highlight, of course, was the balcony with its stunning view of the entire beach. With its open roof, it was a perfect spot to gaze at the stars at night. We had a truly wonderful vacation, thanks in large part to our amazing host

Very nice and comfortable apartment with incredible views from the balconies. Great location only a few minutes walk to the old town and restaurants. Jimmy and Ana were perfect hosts - good communication and instructions, always responsive. A wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

Nous avons passé un séjour parfait dans le logement. Tout était impeccable et l'accueil très sympathique. Le lieu nous a paru paisible, magnifique, et en plus tout était accessible à pied. La vue de la terrasse était incroyable et l'accès à une petite plage privée nous a beaucoup plu pour les baignades quotidiennes. Notre hôte a été à notre écoute. une location parfaite ! 🤗

Anamarija’s place was wonderful. The perfect getaway with an amazing view (especially sunrise). Anamarija was a great host. Super responsive if I ever needed anything and one morning she brought homemade apple strudel which was the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend if you’re looking to stay outside of the old town. The walk to old town is mostly down hill with a great view of the sea. Taxi is only €15 and less than a 10 minute ride.

Marija’s 3 bedroom 3 bathroom apartment is a real gem. It is located in Medvinjak a short 15 minute walk along the waterfront to the old town of Korcula. The spacious apartment is well equipped with everything you would need. Marija is a wonderful host with lots of knowledge of the area. You are fortunate to have the entire second floor of their house with an expansive balcony which gives you a spectacular view overlooking the Adriatic. There is an outside table and chairs and lounges to relax on. This place rates as 1 of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Book early as this place is a real gem.

Words aren’t enough to describe the beauty and location of Miranda’s house (apt Dinko)…right on a sheltered bay about 2 miles west of Korcula old town. We spent the better part of a day swimming and paddle boarding - which could be rented from the Tara hotel just a few houses away. Miranda proactively arranged for a taxi (with Marija taxi) to pick us up at the ferry terminal in old town to bring us to the apt. The house was very comfortable, with two rooms, a very well stocked kitchen. Miranda provided complimentary local wine, brandy, jams and assorted fruits. Loved Korcula and apt. Dinko!

Odličan, novoobnovljeni i dobro opremljeni apartman u Žrnovskoj Banji na korak do Korčule. Vrlo ugodan prostor niske prizemnice podijeljen u dva odvojena smještaja, svaki sa spavaćom sobom, kupaonicom i dnevnim boravkom i kuhinjom te velikim zajedničkim dvorištem i natkrivenom terasom. Sve je klimatizirano i vrlo privatno, bez znatiželjnih pogleda. Blizu mora i na samoj prometnici Korčula - Račišće. Vrlo preporučljivo mjesto za odmor.

We felt like home. It was a great place very comfortable for two families. Lumbarda a nice and sleepy place, but at nights there were good folklore and other events organized on the main square of the town. Nice bay where we stayed, however it was better to walk a bit for a really good beaches. And there were a couple options (rocky or sandy). There is not much of front place at the house, so you literally step on the road when you leave the terrace, so needed to watch the cars and scooters carefully. You can start the boat or SUP right front of the house as there are small port, but for swimming there are better places a bit further down, like 2mins walk. Lumbarda is good with bike or bicycle, but to reach some places, you need to walk on the road in a curvy narrow street, that is not pedestrian-friendly, especially with kids.

Location, location, location!! Dani’s house is very basic although it does have most of the essentials, but boy the location is great! During the Summer Dani’s family is in the smaller house on site so there is usually someone on hand if you need assistance. Vrnik has been ‘discovered’ since we were last here six years ago which is either a bit sad, or great depending on your point of view (thanks Beyoncé!). The house has a small mooring if you want to hire your own boat for island hopping, but now there are regular taxi boats. (No cars in the island).

If you are looking for a great accommodation and location to stay in Lumbarda this place should be on your shortlist. Irena has been so helpful throughout our stay, nothing was too much bother and she was very responsive to our messages, 5 gold star host and then some, a particular recommendation was what company to hire a boat for the day, it was such a great experience. The accommodation was home from home and it suited our requirements. The only thing that would have been a welcome addition was a coffee machine, however the cafe/bar across the road made a lovely coffee with a view of the marina so it was no hardship. You are in walking distance to all the amenities you need during the supermarket and wine tasting to your hearts content! Parking was not an issue and there was always a space for us when we did venture out in the car.

Marie and her family were amazing! The Airbnb is perfectly situated very close to the sea, with amazing views and a beautiful cove. The beds were very comfortable and Marie and Tony even did a grocery trip for us ahead of time since we were arriving late. They gave wonderful restaurant suggestions, helped with logistics and getting there, and were so friendly. We loved every moment there and can’t wait to go back

We had a lovely stay in Marina’s place. A lovely 2 bedroom apartment with great sea views from the balcony. A 20 min walk from the old town with a quiet swimming spot just across the road. A few steps to climb, but that’s how you get the view😀

Vi var tre par som åkte med varandra och huset var verkligen helt perfekt för att kunna umgås hela gänget. Värden var otroligt lätt att kommunicera med och svarade snabbt på frågor som dök upp. Boendets läge var fantastiskt och låg verkligen intill stranden, hela bukten var dessutom väldigt vacker och badvänlig.

From beginning to end, a perfect vacation at Lorena‘s. Lorena as well as her parents are the most attentive, helpful and amazing hosts. Aside from checking in, Lorena kept us up to date with events in the area and spoiled us with her help. The apartment has everything you need for your stay as Lorena thought of all the necessities visiting guests may require (more than enough towels, shower items, stocks of toilet paper, cooking oils + spices, pots and pans, etc.). I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the whole apartment - sparkling clean! And the private beach … heavenly. Crystal clear, cool water, a quiet and calm sunbathing area reserved only for guests of the house are a valuable luxury away from the loud and crowded beaches. I can only recommend this place warmly and hope to come back soon myself:) Thank you to Lorena and her parents for this wonderful and exquisite week!

The location of Nikolina’s place was AMAZING. Situated in a beautiful and peaceful bay with swimming right off the dock in front of the apartment. There is also La Banya beach bar and Mimi’s restaurant a short walk away in the bay. However, you would want to have a car if staying here as Korcula and Lumbarda are a short drive away (not really walkable). The apartment is very well equipped and we requested a crib and highchair, both were there when we arrived. The crib had a nice thick crib mattress as well as crib sheets and was perfect for safe sleep for my six month old. Nikolina and family were very friendly and helpful.
