This apartment offers you both: tranquility in the countryside and yet you are in the middle of Munich in just 30 minutes. The train station is a 2-minute walk away. The Ammersee and Wörthsee, two of the most beautiful lakes in the Munich area, can also be reached by car in 15 minutes. The apartment is located in a house with six parties on the property where my grandparents' house used to be. That's why there are still some memorabilia in the apartment, such as my grandmother's old sewing machine.

The magnificent views of the lake and the Alps were already appreciated at the end of the 19th century. Painters, musicians, and wealthy citizens were drawn here for their summer holidays.

The house on the lake belongs to my wife and me. My son and his wife coordinate the rental for us (co-hosts). The lower apartment in the house is rented, the upper one we use occasionally. We look forward to welcoming you as guests in the upper apartment. The apartment is newly renovated, 100 sqm2 in size, offers plenty of space, light and a view over the lake and the mountains – great to unwind. Living/dining room, balcony, kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms & a sauna.

Romantic cottage next to garden and natural pond

The compact house (built 1906) has been lovingly and lavishly renovated according to ecological guidelines. It combines a historical ambience with modern comfort and is situated right next to a large garden with fruit trees and a natural swimming pond (10x3 meters). The pool is shared with the holiday property next door. Additionally, the cottage has it's own private small garden with a spacious terrace available for al-fresco dining, sunbathing or just unwinding.

As a couple or family, you will be very comfortable in this spacious and unique space. The place is located in a spacious wooden house in the back of the house. In the outdoor area or garden there are three different sunny places to stay. You can cycle to Lake Ammersee within 25 minutes, have the S-Bahn train towards Munich at your doorstep and many excursion destinations nearby. The house itself is inhabited by Wilma and her sons.

Dear guests, our property is located in the lower part of our house. Access is at ground level. The apartment is barrier-free except for a small threshold in the toilet. Parking is available right in front of the house. A fire bowl in the garden with seating is available for cozy evenings. In the apartment, underfloor heating under the parquet floor provides pleasant warmth even in the colder season.

Forest cottage in Starnberg, Munich

Getting a good night's sleep has become the new luxury: Waking up in the quiet of nature, surrounded by the scent of the forest, is a privilege. Here, you will find a place where only the rustling of leaves and the sounds of birds accompany the tranquility. In the morning, the fire crackles, the kettle steams, and the forest beckons for walks.

Our accommodation is located not far from Ammersee in the middle of a beautiful Bavarian village in Ampermoos. Public transport will take you to Munich in half an hour. You'll love our place because of the modern architecture in an old listed farm with a large garden. Our place is good for singles, couples, and families with children.

A modern and stylishly furnished apartment (approx. 20 sqm) awaits you, with a separate kitchen and your own bathroom (shower/toilet), as well as a great private terrace incl. Gas grill, an awning, a table and 2 chairs and 2 deck chairs... The path to Lake Wörthsee is enviably short; you can reach the water on foot in 15 minutes.
