“First of all, this place a a true gem - beautiful, clean, great touches, a big patio where you can see and hear the old church (that plays a wide variety of fun songs)...and in the middle of it ALL. We arrived right as they had a parade right outside the place and then we brought our own bikes and rode around the town and hopped onto the Sugar River Trail. Was a beautiful little ride to Monticello and back. Sadly a lot of things were closed due to the Safe at Home Order but we can only imagine how incredible and bustling New Glarus is in prime time. The locals were all so nice and Melissa and Don allowed us to check in a few hours early. You are walking distance of anything in town or the store. A very short ride from Bailey’s Run winery and New Glarus Brewery. Also the bed at the place is super comfy and a variety of tea and coffee for the morning. Would highly recommend and possibly come back someday during one of their many festivals!”
Historic log cabin nestled in the woods overlooking Decatur lake.
“Cute, clean cabin with plenty of room. The decks off the cabin & on the pier are wonderful places to hang out & the screened-in porch is amazing! The host was extremely responsive to questions asked. No mosquitoes at all in October & the wood stove rocked, keeping the cabin toasty all weekend. Host provided more than enough firewood for the chilly (under 30 degrees at night) weekend. So happy that this was a pet-friendly offering - our dogs had the best time ever. (No fault of the host, but if you bring a dog watch for old broken bottles in the woods). We enjoyed our visit & would look forward to returning.”

“My fiance, son and 10 year old grandson stayed here for a overnite while exploring the area. April greeted us and showed us around the property. The pigs were so fun to watch and learn about. April left us farm fresh eggs and greens from the farm. Which ended up making a delicious breakfast. My grandson loved his own space in the loft. Without a TV, we were able to enjoy board games, puzzles and actual conversation. :) The farm has so many areas to take amazing photos. Lots of memories were made. We enjoyed our stay very much.”
