Thank you so much, Autumn! We had the best time in your cute cabin for our family Christmas vacation. You were so helpful and kind. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a home away from home feel with excellent hosts. If we’re ever back in WV we would definitely stay again.

We have booked in the past ( another house nearby) and were just as happy. Homemade cookies and beyond friendly communication makes this our top pick when we are in Hinton! You won’t be disappointed.

The place was quaint and just like the photos. A private spot we enjoyed staying at. Would recommend as a great place to stay if in the area.

I am very particular about where I stay. We would definitely stay here again. This is a very old home with a lot of character. It was truly like staying at a friends house. Very cozy. There are 3 bedrooms and a comfy couch. The kitchen was easy to cook in. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The linens and towels are not brand new, which was a bonus because they were super soft and comfy. They were all clean and fresh and smelled wonderful. The beds and couch were very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the Wii U. Karen was more than helpful and was super attentive and happy to help us with anything we needed. I was concerned that with it being a pet friendly rental that it would smell like dogs but it definitely did not. The trains do come by often. If you wear ear plugs they won't bother you at all. Honestly we enjoyed them. They are close enough to see and hear but not so loud that they hurt your ears. Our kids and family definitely recommend this rental.

Ruby’s Roost was a perfect home away from home! The house was so welcoming and cute. The host was very accommodating and attentive. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay even the friendly neighborhood cats added to the experience.

Thanks for the stay! This house was perfect for our group, very spaceous with a large kitchen and family room and the location could not have been any better. Less than a 5 minute drive to the Summersville parking lot, so if you are planning on going to the lake then look no further. Would love to stay here again sometime!

We had such a great stay at Yonah and Rachel's place. Their home is so cozy and inviting. The house is also perfectly situated near downtown Lewisburg where there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and watering holes to visit. We ended up driving to Pocahontas County, New River Gorge, and the Lost Caverns for hiking and scenery. We also brought a lot of our own food to cook. From appliances to cookware to utensils to spices in the kitchen, and from the towels, lotion, and soap in the bathrooms, they had everything we needed to make the stay super comfortable. Our only regret of the trip was it being too short! Highly recommend to others looking for a peaceful, relaxing visit to Lewisburg.

Perfect. Looks exactly as advertised, peaceful, comfortable and quiet. This house is a very well-maintained country farm house with all the comforts needed for a restful stay. We really felt like we were visiting our grandparents, and loved it! Just far enough off the beaten path (and a lovely drive) to ensure a quiet stay but not too far as to be inconvenient from the interstate. Highly recommended; we'd definitely stay again!

The host was very responsive and flexible. We rented the house for a work project and it was very nice to have a place that felt more like home to come back to after a long day. Unfortunately our stay was before the pool had fully opened but the sound and views of the Jackson river was very peaceful while relaxing on the porch each evening. I would definetly stay here again for future projects in the area. I would recommend future guests to plan to bring or buy additional tolietries and cooking essentials (oil, sugar, coffee, etc) for extended stays.

It is a beautiful place located at the very top of the mountain. Gorgeous inside and out; I would definitely stay again. When I say beautiful, I mean a BEAUTIFUL place. Simple suggestions: I highly suggest you check in during daylight. Being from Ohio, getting up the hill after dark can be challenging, as there are no lights on the way up. Also, the road is incredibly narrow. Once you go up the hill during the daylight, you’ll have no problem navigating. The Internet is pretty good, although I had to study for an exam I didn’t plan on. It was a bit challenging, but I got through it (Internet, slightly slow). Bath robes in the master bathroom, I tend to bring my own with me and I’m glad I did because the bathrooms had some hair from another person so I do suggest for your own. Whirlpool tub in the lower level. although it was clean, I have learned previously to fill the tub and run the jets to make sure it’s completely clean and unfortunately, there were black sediments.

For me personally, this was my favorite Airbnb i have rented. I needed the seclusion, one of those getaway from everywhere type vacations and this fit that perfect. The pool on the lake was so cool along with the sauna, i was there everyday. Its 20 minties from town but there are some very goos restaurants and its 1 hiur from new river gorge with very scenic drives. We will be back!.

Jenny's place was peaceful and safe! She was really proactive and friendly. We slept really well and can't wait to stay here again. Highly recommend!

My wife, our golden retriever and I stayed 3 nights. This cabin is off the beaten path and that is what we wanted. Everything was as described. Our dog, Gracie, loved the wide open space to run. Inside, the cabin was clean and modern with tons of living room space. This is the place to unplug. We do recommend.

So convenient to the fairgrounds, especially the livestock entrance. Robbie was a great host. He responded quickly to messages, and made sure we had everything we needed. I would stay with him anytime I’m in town!

Aaron was a great host. Extremely responsive via text / phone call for a few questions we had about the house. The house itself was great. Very old with rustic charm which we loved. We really enjoyed sitting out on the front porch and the foliage was gorgeous in the front yard. Photos were very accurate. The only negative I would say is that the king bedroom on the front of the house that overlooks the main road is very loud, which was a little disruptive for sleep/ naps for our toddler even with a sound machine on. Beds were very comfortable and none of the other guests noticed the street noise because of their room locations were farther away. Town was very sleepy which is what we expected! We enjoyed the playground in walking distance, dinner out, lunch out, and the nearby brewery was fun. Boys went to a golf course nearby that was much cheaper than GB. Overall, we had a very enjoyable trip!

Great place for a nice get away for a few days. The space was perfect, a nice size and all the back up supplies were extremely thoughtful. I pray I am able to come back!

We had such a great time in the tiny home! The host was friendly, inviting, and always responded quickly. It was actually quite spacious and had everything we needed. It is so close to the Cranberry Wilderness too which is awesome.!

We arrived at the cabin and loved the scenery instantly. Unfortunately, a power line was down and the cabin had no power. Within minutes, Omar sent a neighbor over to offer help. The power could not be restored that night, so Omar let us stay at the larger cabin instead AND he refunded our stay. We thought this was so kind and loved the larger cabin too. The surrounding land is so beautiful. We already want to return to experience it during a different season. We’re grateful Omar was so quick to respond and had our best interest in mind. Highly recommend.

Evan and his wife are wonderful, from the moment we booked to the time we left the cabin to head home. Everything was clean & organized, very home like & cute.
