Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. We have a few neighbors but you won’t see or hear them. Only 15 minutes from Historic Lewisburg, one of WV's best tourist destinations which offers restaurants, bars, shops, antiques, and the arts. Also 13 miles from The Greenbrier Resort.

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.

Mason Jar Cabin Rustic mountain getaway

New cabin built 2019 in the heart of pocahontas county! Just a 28 mile drive to Snowshoe ski resort. It has a bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, upstairs bedroom has a full bed with open loft overlooking kitchen and living room area, bathroom downstairs with standup shower. It has a heat pump, two TVs & WIFI also a fully equipped kitchen. We have a fire pit outside and a charcoal grill. The 77 mile greenbrier river trail is directly in front of our cabin.
