“Super stylish and furnished with taste, this little hideaway at the top of Brooklyn is perfect. We were blown away by the cleanliness and how new everything looked. We loved the linen sheets, huge shower and delicious almond biscuits. The location was hidden away and nestled atop a walkway that takes you down to where all the action is - it could not have been more ideal and convenient. I highly recommend this place to everyone, especially couples who want a romantic night away.”

The spa sits deep in it's expansive decking creating an unforgettable experience; Relaxing, under the stars.
“This spot is amazing! The view of the trees from the hot tub is the best and if you get lucky you can watch a bit of a sunset from their too. You’re surrounded by so much beautiful nature and Ingridy was so helpful. Definitely grab all your supplies before heading in though, that way you can just chill out for the whole time you’re there.”

“The Love Shack is absolutely amazing, from the drive down to the absolutely staggering beauty of the river that you get as soon as you pull up. Howard is a truly wonderful host who is very quick to respond to all enquires, had the forethought to leave the house unlocked just before I arrived so that I could get a wonderful first impression as I was greeted by relaxing music wafting out onto the verandah. I was also able to connect into the wifi, as my mobile carrier clearly seems to lack in the coverage department, and contact Howard to let him know I arrived. Howard went above and beyond to make my trip extra special and ensured I had everything I needed. As a lone female travelling with a puppy I felt incredibly safe in the accommodation and area. The space itself is deceptively spacious given the size and well utilised. The view from the balcony and bed itself is to die for and I lost count of the amount of times I said “this is so pretty” throughout the day as the light continued to transform the scenery. The bed, pillows and bedding are super comfy and the shower had good pressure and heating. There was ample fire wood for the fire pit and the daybeds were utilised to the full as I absorbed the sunshine during the day and a spot by the fire at night. The wifi worked without fault and Netflix also worked perfectly which I would watch once the sun went down just before bed. There is plenty of bird life and my puppy had no issue with staying and playing within the property boundaries. I had the most amazing time and would highly recommend staying here whether you are by yourself, with a dog or with a friend or partner. It is a truly magical spot and I hope to stay at the Love Shack again. Thanks again for making sure I had a wonderful birthday.”
