Vacation rentals with a firepit in Grimes County

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Sonia’s! Plenty of space and endless amounts of games to entertain us all! This stay was exactly what we needed to relax and just enjoy lounging with our girls!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Justin's place. We absolutely love staying here! Its an easy enough drive to A&M for games and activities. The home is very welcoming with lots of space for a large family. The beds are comfy and plenty of sleeping options. The covered carport and porch is definitely a huge plus. It rained and made it easy to unload without getting wet. Love getting up in the morning with a cup of coffee and sitting on the front porch in the rocking chair listening to the birds, faint sound of the cows mooing and one day we were visited with a flock of guineas. There is also a friendly donkey next door which is pretty cool. Justin is super accommodating and is quick to respond if you have any questions. Thank you and can't wait to be back!

Great place to stay! Close to everything we needed. Nice open floor plan. Pet friendly was a plus since we travel with our dogs. Overall the place was great stocked with all the essentials if needed. Nice neighborhood, hope to be back next year!

This place gave a peaceful feel after being way from the big city. It was private and secluded, but it was so far from shops and restaurants.

Such Amazing Host! Richard and Denise really made our weekend getaway one to remember. The Cabin was so comfy and peaceful. All the amenities you need and super fast WiFi just in case your on a semi “workation” like wifey was. College Station is a quick 15 minute drive from the property that has plenty of amazing restaurants and watering holes. We only hope the Cabin is available next time we wanna get outta the city for a quiet weekend getaway. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

This cabin was clean, comfortable, and adorable! You truly are directly lakefront at this cabin, and I was able to relax to the peaceful sounds of the water and the wildlife around it. Beautiful surroundings. Sandra was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions I had during my stay. My only warning would be to watch the weather when you are planning on staying, because it was quite rainy during my visit and the road out to the cabins is soft dirt which ended in my car sliding around and almost getting stuck in the mud. I still made it safely in and out though, and the weather is no fault of the host!

We had a fantastic stay at Jesse’s small cabin over Thanksgiving weekend! The cabin was cozy, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. One of the highlights was that it was dog-friendly—our pups loved exploring. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing retreat, yet close enough to Faire to make it easy to get back and forth. Jesse was a wonderful host, quick to respond to any questions and clearly thoughtful about making guests feel at home. We really loved the community fire pit! If you're looking for a charming, pet-friendly escape, we highly recommend Jesse’s cabin! We’ll definitely be back.

What a great hidden sanctuary! Well laid out with lots of amenities, in a beautiful setting that’s not too far from lots of places.
