Red Småland cottage, surrounded by quiet meadows and green fields. Only a stone's throw away is Astrid Lindgren's World, where fairy tales and childhood memories live on. Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful nature. On the farm, we have chickens and sheep that you can meet if you want. In the nature around the cottage, we have most Swedish animal species, moose, deer, roe deer, lynx, but also the sea eagle can be seen scouting for prey on meadows and fields. If you want to fish and swim, there are two lakes within a few kilometers.

The house is completely secluded in the woods and right by its own forest lake with a jetty, sauna and boat. A unique and peaceful accommodation in the middle of the woods. In this tree house, you live up among the trees in a peaceful and quiet place with animals, birds and nature as neighbors. Here, the noise level is quiet, it smells like forest and the air is clean. If you're looking for a place to unwind, you've found the right place. The house is built of wood from the same forest as the house is in and the insulation is wood shavings from floors and walls. For us, it's important to protect the ecological and local environment.

Stay in our cozy guest house with its own garden. Close to, among other things, Astrid Lindgren's World (20 km), Katthult and Bullerbyn. In Mariannelund there is also Filmbyn Småland, Karamellkokeriet, Ica, nice natural areas with lakes, etc. The house consists of a large combined kitchen and living room, two bedrooms (a total of 7 beds + a sofa bed for 2 people in the living room), a toilet/shower and laundry room. Note: You clean before check-out (unless otherwise agreed) and bring your own towels and sheets

Stugan har det mesta då det kommer till bekvämlighet. Fullutrustat kök, bäddsoffa, dubbelsäng och badrum. Därtill wifi och tv med Netflix etc. Utomhus finns ett trädäck med grill, bord samt stolar och utomhuseldstad. Har ni barn i sällskapet finns ytor att springa runt på, gunga samt åka rutschkana.

Lugnt läge med den vilda naturen runt omkring er. 150 meter bakom stugan finns grillplats och vacker vy över sjön Sommen. Fina skogsområden med promenadstråk och vandringsleder för svamp- och bärplockning. Stor chans att få se mycket vilt som rådjur, älg, räv och även Havsörn. 500 meter promenadstig till ångbåtshamn, badplats och fiske.

During your stay, you can charge your car on site for a fee.

Three kilometers from Astrid Lindgren's World is the small horse farm Högerum. On the farm there are four horses, a bunch of chickens and two cats. Here you can rent our little cozy guest house.
