A hiking trail to Gangsåstoppen starts 50 meters from the apartment. This 30 minute trip is recommended to all. There you get an amazing view of the city and the surrounding islands. New cabin with midnight sun located right at the beachfront at SørSenja. Great location to see the Northern Lights out over the sea in the direction of Andøya. New Joker shop nearby, several hiking trails, heveitemuseum, national park, inland and sea fishing, boat rental nearby. 2 hours by car from Bardufoss Airport. 1 hour drive to Finnsnes. 1 hour by fast boat to Harstad. 3 mattresses upstairs in the loft in addition to the two bedrooms. My place is close to great views, the beach, art and culture, and restaurants and eating places. You'll love my place because in the middle of the region Vesterålen, Lofoten and Harstad,, the kitchen, the outdoor area, the neighborhood, the light, the comfy bed. My place is good for couples, lone travelers, and furry friends (pets). It is also a quiet and peaceful area, without the big traffic noise as this is not by the main road. Quiet neighborhood.

The Blue House - Blokken

A genuine and cozy house from 1900 with an amazing atmosphere and view. The Blue House is an optimal base for hiking, skiing, kayaking, snowshoe trekking and mountaineering. Fishing in the lakes or in the sea is right outside the door. Maps, first aid kit are available free of charge. The house is just renovated, and painted in colors chosen by the “blue city” artist, Bjørn Elvenes. Charger for electric cars is available for an extra fee.

It can hardly be described - it must be experienced. You live on the outside of the fairytale island of Senja. You can't get any closer to nature - with a glass facade of close to 30 sq.m. you have the feeling of sitting outside while you're inside. Whether it's midnight sun or northern light-it 'll never be boring to look at the sea, mountains and wildlife along Bergsfjord. The cabin was completed in autumn 2018 and has a high standard.
