Reindeer often comes by. Moose can come by a quick trip. Otherwise, otters and weights will run around the houses. In the sea, seals and rare dolphins swim. A superb place to observe the Northern Lights - and if it is windless, it mirrors in the sea as well. Tromsø city centre bus, approx. 15 min. Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Dåfjord Lodge & Ocean sauna

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

Enjoy the midnight sun or the northen lights. Above all, we want you to have a very good stay. That's why we offer you free rental of bicycles, snowshoes, canoes, firewood, barbecues and kayak for those with experience. The apartment is on the first floor and has large windows. It is in the nature surrounded by the ocean, white coral beaches, islets and reefs, you can see this trough the apartment windows. Park right outsidee and indside you really have everything you might need.

The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. It can hardly be described - it must be experienced. You live on the outside of the fairytale island of Senja. You can't get any closer to nature - with a glass facade of close to 30 sq.m. you have the feeling of sitting outside while you're inside. Whether it's midnight sun or northern light-it 'll never be boring to look at the sea, mountains and wildlife along Bergsfjord. The cabin was completed in autumn 2018 and has a high standard.
