The hills are alive!! The Hundred Picket chalet is set on a quiet hillside amid rolling pastures and offers a restful spot to explore this beautiful alpine region. Renovated by the owner/architect, the chalet provides generous, modern open spaces, ideal for a couple, a family or a small group of friends. The south view is graced by the Videmanette and Rubli peaks and the northern one includes the historic Palettes farmhouse in its fields as well as the Vanil and Rodomonts mountain ranges.

Our chalet, nestled between the lake and the Prealps, is the ideal place to relax with family, as a couple or with friends. 🌸 Settle in the garden to read, enjoy the sun and let yourself be lulled by the sounds of nature. 🌊 The lake at your feet: dive into the water or go on an adventure by kayak or paddleboard. 🥾 Walks in the region: quiet or more athletic trails, everyone will find what they are looking for. Many hikes are possible from the chalet, such as the Mont Biffé, or the Tour du Lac de Montsalvens. Our fully equipped chalet is perfect for a couple or a family: wifi, TV, fitted kitchen.

A cozy rural retreat invites you to unwind! This newly renovated room, styled in alpine chic, features a private entrance with direct access to a covered patio. Hiking, biking trails, and ski slopes start nearby. There’s no kitchen, but a full-meal restaurant is next door, with others nearby. Shops and the train station are 5-10 minutes away on foot (0.5-1 km), and the bus stop is just 250 meters away. Free parking available.

Oasis of peace and views - Top of Chateaux-d‘Oex

The Planards is a place of peace and seclusion high above Chateaux d'Oex with a spectacular view. The last house of the street just below the edge of the forest about 1 km from the nearest neighbor. Here you feel deeply relaxed and on vacation within a few minutes. Despite the seclusion, you do not have to give up the usual comfort here. Ideal for switching off, enjoying nature or having an eventful time with the whole family.

Possibility of eating outside, lounging on a deck chair or in a hammock... view of the mountains or the village... your accommodation is located on the ground floor of the chalet: we live on the 2nd floor. It is an old wooden chalet so it is inevitable to hear the wood creak under our feet (or even spontaneously by temperature change for example!) but we take good care of your visit
