We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks.

Go for walks, swim, kayak, boat, hike, or hang back and read, play games, make a meal with friends, or work, if you must. Warm up by the indoor fireplace after a day of snowshoeing on the lake or roast marshmallows on the outdoor fire pit. Sit down by the lake and take in the life that surrounds you.

Gas fireplace, range, oven and BBQ, plus dishwasher and full size refrigerator. Washer/dryer, linens/towels, and basic essentials are provided.

Enjoy the beautiful sunsets and lake wildlife - and it is only about 15 minutes from Dover-Foxcroft with various shops and quaint eateries.
