“The Studio was a lovely little getaway, very clean, cosy and pretty. The extra touches were very thoughtful and appreciated. Guiting Power is such a beautiful place, with lovely walks throughout the village and surrounding area, the church is quite delightful. I strongly recommend you visit both the pub Hollow Bottom, which is lively and friendly and The Old Post Office, where we had our breakfast, the food is locally sourced and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, along with the gifts and antiques, it makes a very unique and quirky place to visit. Fiona's knowledge of the local area and the stories she shared about the village, made it a wonderful experience altogether. We will definitely book The Studio again.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Tally Ho Shepard’s hut! It was cosy, beautifully furnished and the views are just stunning. On the advice of Richard and the previous reviews we ate one evening at the pub in Guiting Power - the Hollow Bottom - and the food was really good and its a lovely premium pub, and had breakfast and a slice of Victoria sponge at The Old Post Office - Fiona was lovely and gave us an extra large slice - and OMG it’s the best Victoria sponge we’ve ever eaten! One thing to be aware of is that the village is about a 20 minute walk away and while perfectly fine during the day it’s not a walk you can really do after dark - we were planning on walking to the pub for dinner but ended up driving and we’re glad we did. Richard and Sarah have left helpful info on the area and some walks as well - we did the Dovecote one and had a great time! The scenery is beautiful and we had a lovely lunch at The Black Horse in Naunton about 2/3rds of the way through the walk. Would 100% recommend Tally Ho - it was a lovely, peaceful getaway, and we would definitely return!”
