Original WWII Army's barracks converted into a beach home! Only a couple minutes from downtown Gulfport, 10 min to Gulf beaches and ten minutes from downtown St. Pete. this little home is perfect for a couple, a couple couples, or a big family to rest and relax as they enjoy everything Gulfport and St. Petersburg have to offer. The backyard is perfect for your dog, cat, alpaca, pig, or kids to run around in! You'll feel right at home. It is in a multi-cultural neighborhood. Bohemian vibe.
“Mary’s place was exactly what we needed to make a weekend at the beach. About 10 minutes from Treasure Island and plenty of great food options and sunset views. Mary was very responsive to messages and a very helpful host. We would most definitely stay again. And allowing pets was a huge plus with the yard! The yard is a nice place to relax after a day at the beach.”
This boutique-sized, moon-drenched studio is more than just a place to lay your head. From the delicate metal birds swirling above your bed, to the tender light reflecting off the burnished aluminum countertop, your senses will be soothed and tickled by its quietly exuberant design & decor. Nestled in a lush tropical garden, the space is just a block away from Gulfport's Art Village with its sunset waterfront, delightful shops, and many fine restaurants. “Ciara's little home was the cutest getaway! The space is so beautifully decorated, with plenty of special touches from a custom welcome note to welcoming us with water infused with herbs from her very own garden the night we got there☺️ As soon as you step outside, you seem to be in a little jungle oasis - which also adds privacy to the space. Gulfport is truly a hidden gem [with such warm, friendly locals] that luckily hasn't lost it's charm & turned indistrialized. The only thing I'd add is if you don't drink tap water, make sure to bring plenty of your own filtered water for the trip!🙏🏼 Ciara also created a very helpful binder including plenty of recommendations in the area”
Our guest cottage offers comfortable quarters in an eclectic "Old Florida"-style small town. A short walk to Gulfport's waterfront district full of independent shops, restaurants, galleries. Convenient to the Gulf beaches, St. Pete and Tampa.
“This is a great, affordable place to stay, with or without pets. I brought my two dogs, who were very comfortable there immediately. The house and yard were cozy, relaxing, funky and eclectic! The hosts Daniel and Mike were friendly and responsive. The location is great....less than a mile from the main strip of Gulfport, and an easy 15 minute drive to both St Pete Beach and Treasure Island Beach. It’s also close to downtown St Petersburg. There is a free public dog park just over 1/2 mile from the house, which was very convenient, and the Gulfport stores and outdoor restaurants were dog friendly. The neighborhood was friendly and nice and there are a lot of stores and things to do in close proximity. I would love to stay there again, and have already recommended it to several people. Thanks again! Hope to be back!!!!”
