Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hadley

Our stay was excellent. House was exactly as advertised and fit our needs perfectly. We were a large group including young children and everyone had plenty of space both for sleeping and recreation. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you needed to cook your meals. Host was responsive and very clear with instructions and answering questions. 5/5 stars. Would highly recommend. A quick note for future guests. If the weather is cold the kitchen floor gets cold. Would recommend packing slippers.

Jenny was a fantastic host and the house was beautiful and peaceful! We went with a group of 10 and it was setup so nicely for a large group to have enough space and privacy. Jenny had the house stocked with everything you can imagine needing and was very friendly and communicative. We had a fantastic weekend away and would love to go back again!

This was our second time staying here with Nikolay as the host, and we had an amazing time! The pools and activities are so much fun, my kids (age 15 and 11) had a blast even though it rained a few days. They kept busy in the arcade, indoor pools, and movie theater. The staff is super friendly, grounds are clean, the room is roomy with an awesome jacuzzi tub and deck, the outdoor pool is huge with plenty of seating, and the free laundry is much appreciated! The only thing I would recommend is to bring an extra blanket if you like to sleep with lots of blankets, the ones from the resort are kind of thin. BEST PART is the mini golf! This time we brought our own balls and putters (and our own basketball for the court), but you can get them from the staff too. The grocery store is right up the road and there are several great restaurants in town - Highly recommend The Locker Room for great burgers. We definitely will be back, its a great place and wonderful hosts! Definitely a hidden gem of Massachusetts!

This was a great home away from home. Wish it didn’t rain as much as it did. We really wanted to walk the grounds more. Inside was cozy and warm. Anything you needed it was there. Definitely thinking about coming back in the winter because it would be a perfect winter wonderland. Thanks again Sophon

Wonderful stay. The location was private and relaxing. The home was well stocked with all the amenities. Having the lake and kayaks available was perfect. Summer evenings under the stars and fireflies. Host was responsive and friendly. Look forward to staying again!

A peaceful location with chill activities for all ages...we enjoyed the phonograph, the retro Atari, the hot tub, the window bird feeder, and watching birds in the spacious yard and conservation area. Herons, hawks, and songbirds viewed. The hot tub was sparkling clean, and the linen robes were a thoughtful touch. Wifi worked great. We arrived late but instructions for entry were crystal clear. Virginia answered my questions promptly and warmly. Definitely a winner.

My long weekend at the barn was everything I expected and more . I absolutely loved the place . The kitchen had everything you need. The fireplace and reading area was so nice and relaxing , so many great books. The bed was very comfortable. The heated floors in the bathroom was a definite treat. The stained glass windows are a great touch, especially when the sun comes through. Sitting in the hot tub after a long hike was AMAZING. There are so many places to hike, we had a great time , we will definitely be returning!!!!

Second time staying here, and we continue to love it! The location is great: pretty much anything in western Mass can be reached within about an hour or less from the house. At the house itself, you have a clean, comfortable, and ample space. The hot tub overlooking the river is definitely a highlight. The sounds of the river and the occasional rumble of trains passing by create a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed staying at Nancy’s place, it was super comfortable and our dog loved it too! There was plenty of space to walk our dog and we really enjoyed watching the animals from the back porch!

We had a great stay at Lilac Ridge! The house was near and spacious, plenty of room for our family. We stayed in quite a bit and enjoyed the farm (including a visit with the calves!) and the house. The little farm stand had some nice things, including fresh eggs, maple syrup, honey, and soap, all local. Ross and Amanda were super responsive and took care of all our needs. Thanks so much!

It was very peaceful, great get away from the city. Good for the dogs. The copper tub is amazing, we could not get enough of it. And the dual showers felt so good. It felt very homey. Mr. John was a a great host.

We recently enjoyed a lovely stay at The Carriage Barn in Guilford. Our host, Katherine, was very responsive to everything we might have needed during our visit: a very easy check in and out process, detailed instructions on how everything worked, items for our comfort (a gift of delicious chocolates, many fluffy towels, silky sheets, etc.), and was easily available via texting. The photos of her restored historic barn are very accurate - it's a beautifully designed renovation and is decorated with lovely art pieces, cozy furniture, and a huge library of books for your enjoyment. The tv works great and so does the WiFii. We traveled with our small dog and there is a baby gate available that easily snaps onto the staircase posts so I was not concerned about my dog's safety.. Best of all is the beautiful views of the gorgeous Vermont countryside. You'll see lovely sunsets here and spectacular sunrises. It's a great spot to truly relax.

Anna, bubba (the cat), and I visited the crows nest for the second time (and my third). It was wonderful, we love staying at the crows nest! It feels like we’re right at home and our cat loves running up and down the stairs. Theres plenty of hiking to do around, which was super fun to do in the snow. Carol and Robin let us know about a possible parking ban and where to park if that occurred (in their driveway), which we really appreciated!

House is really awesome! We had a fantastic time. Definitely recommend.

I genuinely don't know what to say other than the fact that this may be one of the greatest places I've had the honor to lodge at. I did a lot of vetting across New England to find a wonderful place that could sleep a decent amount of people, provide a scenic and comfortable escape, and keep us entertained. Sarah's wonderful Stone and Sky Lodge exceeded every expectation I just listed. It's cozy, warm, and feels like a hidden nook! The scenery and nature couldn't be more beautiful. I never got the pleasure to meet Sarah, though I wish I did. Over messages and from what my friends told me, I just know that Sarah is the most hospitable and kind host that I've talked with in a while, and I hope that next time I can thank her personally. From my friends and I, we thank you for sharing your home with us. If you think that the excellent reviews are too good to be true, don't. This IS the truth, and I can't wait to have another reason to come back to this wonderful treasure of a place.

Thanks for a great one-night stay at your beautiful home. We got to celebrate Easter here on our way to the Boston Marathon 2025! The home was quiet, clean, and in a beautiful location. It was very comfortable, and it had everything one would need from sheets, towels, fully stocked kitchen etc. We wished we could've stayed longer!

This place was cozy! I loved the rainfall showerhead so much that I now want one. My favorite part was the informational binder supplied, as this was my very first time in the area. My daughter is attending Smith in the fall, and we came to check out the area. I did love the porch as well. Perfect view when it was raining and snowing.

Enjoyed our stay. Frank and Manon greeted us and were very friendly. The place was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The refrigerator was very well stocked!! Highly recommend!!

We had a very nice stay for a family wedding. Sharing the house with two combined families in January and the house was great for this. There are rooms with 3-4 beds in each so if you are looking for bedroom privacy then this house probably isn’t it. That said, we are all family so was fun to bunk up! The area is beautiful and there r a great set of trails right at the end of the road for hiking, walking cross country skiiing etc. Overall, a great stay and Kimberly was very communicative with everything

We loved the outdoor space- beautiful yard and lovely heated pool. It was perfect for our April stay. The location was great too, walkable to many places. The apartment gets great light and we were comfortable. Also great selection of books for adults and children. Only note is that it is an old house, but we're used to old homes so we didn't mind.

If you come to the Berkshires, this is a clean, comfortable, spacious place for two couples, with nice resort amenities. The kitchen is minimally equipped, but adequate for preparing simple meals.

Great Airbnb in Northampton. Lovely decor and thoughtful appointments. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfy. Sue is a terrific host. This is the 2nd time I've stayed in one of her Airbnbs while visiting my daughter who attends a nearby college. Free parking is a major perk as Northampton is a vibrant town with many restaurants and shops. So convenient to walk into town for a morning coffee or stroll home after dinner. Great location and neighborhood. I definitely recommend !

Just What We Needed We had a marvelous trip to Northampton MA and Sue's large Victorian house was perfect for our group's stay. Of course it was clean and comfortable, but in many ways it had more than what we needed, from parking to rooms and other amenities, I was especially pleased to find convenient outlets and USB ports, even by the bed (which is better than some hotels I've stayed at). Sue had a welcoming gift in the kitchen, communicated responsively and helpful with ideas about the area, as our 'home' was truly conveniently located just blocks from the trendy downtown area. An enjoyable stay in a charming city.

We had a great stay at the Hollywood Bungalow. House was described accurately and had so many thoughtful touches to make us feel welcome. Diana met us upon arrival and walked us around the property and the house. Such a great host! She had generously provided snacks, treats and gave a thorough overview for our stay. We were primarily focused on skiing at Jiminy Peak which was a short 20 minute drive. We also brought our 5 year-old rescue who had the best vacation of her life. She was able to use the fenced-in backyard to run around off leash and even meet a new friend when Jackson's dog visited. Diana even shoveled walking paths in the yard throughout our stay so we could get around in the high snow. The Screening Room is awesome and provided hours of entertainment. Quiet street and picturesque location. We will definitely return.
