“This place exceeded our expectations. The west facing view of the lake gave stunning sunsets at night. The house was clean and has everything you need. The outdoor hot shower was such a lovely treat as you can walk in right after a swim in the lake. David was an amazing host and very responsive to our needs. We will definitely be coming back!”
Enjoy the lake and forest views from your loft overlooking beautiful Twelve Mile lake. The cozy 600 sqft space over the garage has sliding glass doors opening onto your private deck facing the lake. In one dormer is a comfortable king size bed with a dining table in the opposite dormer. An island provides simple meal prep space. The vaulted ceilings and big windows create spaciousness with lots of natural light.
“Wendy's loft is adorable! It's the perfect, quaint get-away from the city. The space may be small, but it's cozy as heck. She also keeps it squeaky clean - which made our stay even more enjoyable. We hope to be back in the summer to enjoy the lake. Thanks again, Wendy! Tina and Gary”
An absolutely private site of a former hunting camp above a peaceful lake surrounded by a quiet forest. Two comfortable cabins on site, each with a screened porch, kitchenette, running water, and a tree-house like sleeping loft, can accommodate up to four guests. This completely private property has many trails to explore, comes with a canoe and a row boat, and is perfect for people of all ages seeking adventure or a tranquil atmosphere to relax and rejuvenate.
“I just spent 5 days in the cabin and it absolutely great! Exactly as described, and even more! I was looking for a secluded place where I can spend some time without any interruption or even talking to anybody. And this is was I got 🙂 Check-in and check-out is easy - just punch the code on the door lock... The cabin was ready - brightly clean and welcoming - a pack of chips and a bottle of water was waiting for me on the table. Very cozy - lots of pillows on the bunk. I spent time walking on the trails, fishing from the row boat and sitting in the cabin wen it was raining. I was there in late October so the nights were cold, but the place has 2 catalytic heaters, which I used when needed (I only had to buy propane in Canadian Tire in Minden) All in all - an excellent place for those who wants to run away from the outside world, from their gadgets, and just spend time in silence and tranquility Thank you, Peter!”
