The cabin can be enjoyed year-round with many activities and excursions in the area: mountain hikes, fishing, swimming, canoeing, cycling, rafting, golf, disc golf, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing (from the cabin!), tobogganing, etc. Langedrag Nature Park and Bjørneparken are also worth visiting. Good opportunity to see the northern lights in winter when it is dark around the cabin. The cabin has a fireplace, a large south-facing terrace, a fire pit, a toboggan, a lounge loft, and board games. Welcome!

At 920 meters above sea level, you will have a fantastic view of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings and very good sun conditions from morning to evening. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming and cross-country skiing, in addition to mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage at Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk ski centre is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

Stolpehytta

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

Experience authentic farm culture in an original charming halling house. Here you can grind coffee beans in an old mill and cook on a wood stove if you want. Refrigerator, freezer, and new bathroom are the latest. Hallingstugu is located on a farm in active operation with cows, sheep and garden hens. In the outdoor area, there is plenty of space to ski and sled. Popular attractions nearby include Nesfjellet alpine, golf, Nystølkroken café, Langedrag nature park and endless cross-country ski trails. Everything within a few kilometres by car.

In winter, a ski slope is made in and past the cabin – parking is then 1 km from the cabin.

You are welcome to stay privately at our home. We give you a simpler alternative. Here there is plenty of room for 2 people. Possibility for 4, but then you will have to sleep in the living room. The cabin is located approx. 300 meters from our farm where we live. Proximity to the Bear Park in Flå and Langedrag, trail cycling, mountain tours and Skiing in Liemarka.

Cosy little cabin

The cabin is very small, but quite comfortable. (Around 10 kvm) The bathroom is separate. Rustic interior. Most suitable for couples and good friends. If you need more space, take a look at the other cabin on our farm, (Cottage anno 1711) Sauna can be rented. 300NOK / 30 Euro per use. If you arrive by train or bus, we can pick you up at the station. For this we will charge 150 NOK / 15 Euro per way.
