Kayak, swim, crab, clam or just relax on the deck of our beautiful 1930’s no-bank studio beach cabin. Also available for rent are our adjacent Octopus Hole Beach Cabin and our adjacent Big Gray 1930's Beach Cabin. All 3 cabins are located right next to each other, right on the beach. Rent two or all three cabins for a large group. They are ideal for family reunions…plenty of room to celebrate together while each family also has their own space.
“The cabin is even more gorgeous than the photos show. The kitchen is phenomenally stocked with everything you could need. The beds are extremely comfortable. It was the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in- spotless.”
Platform Tent perched above Sund Rock on Hood Canal. The tent site offers a queen size bed (glampers need to bring their own bedding), electric lights, heat, small refrigerator, wifi, propane bbq, propane fire pit, private privy/shower and a short walk for glampers to access Sund Rock beach for kayaking, diving, swimming, snorkeling or just kicking back. The beach may be shared with registered day visiting scuba divers. The site is best for 2 people. The site is not appropriate for children.
“This special place provided such a beautiful, relaxing, fun and memorable weekend for us! It was our first experience with "glamping" and Cindy's camp at Sund Rock was truly the perfect introduction. The location itself is stunning and peaceful, the accommodations are adorable and cozy, lots of opportunities to trek out for little adventures or stay put and just soak up the sweetness of your little private getaway. And Cindy was a wonderfully attentive and respectful host, was sure to guide us to the camp when we arrived (and we arrived later than expected, which she was very gracious about), then after her introduction, some helpful tips on where things are and how they work, a bit of history on the spot and some insider knowledge on the best spots in and outside of town, she said she would leave us to our privacy but was still available via text or phone if we needed anything (wonderful communication). Love it, love it, love it... we'll be back. Thank you so much!”
Our home is located on the Olympic Peninsula, just steps from where the Duckabush River meets the Hood Canal. We have tried to create a cozy and rustic space for guests to relax in! The cabin is conveniently located near lots of hiking trails, and several public beaches. Prepare to be completely engulfed in nature, as the property is home to many interesting and rare plants and trees. Come sit in the hot tub, while bald eagles fly overhead, or head to a public beach and find a bounty of oysters!
“My partner and I were looking for a relaxing getaway from Seattle during the pandemic and Shane and Taryn’s cabin was perfect. The no-contact check-in was much-appreciated and the place was sparkling clean. The overall aesthetic of the cabin is great with thoughtful touches and has every amenity you would need. We also really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub at the end of the day. Although we never saw them in person, Shane and Taryn were wonderful hosts and very responsive to all of our questions. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!”
