“Brian’s place is amazing. Do not hesitate- book it! You will be in a private little house with everything you need! The shower was amazing- temperature control. Full kitchen and VERY comfortable bed. Even have a beautiful stream right next to the schoolhouse!”
The neighborhood is super quiet and such a wonderful place to get away to. The house is located right in front of the creek that you can fish, kayak, let your dog swim and just enjoy the sound. The house is nice and cozy, im here if you need anything.
“This place is a perfect spot to relax and I would recommend it to anyone. Plenty of games, silverware, etc. on a nice property w kayaks included.”
Secluded home base for exploring Civil War sites, a quiet restful weekend getaway, a lovers' retreat, or simple rest and solitude. Hiking, exploring, winter skiing, and touring Washington, DC, are just a few activities available. We emphasize that our cabin in the woods is intended to give our guests a quiet, restful, and serene place away from the pressures and challenges of life, so we have no WiFi, Internet, or cable service available. We do, however, have cellular telephone service.
“Alan's home is an oasis of peacefullness. As soon as you walk in you feel right at home. It was the perfect place to stay after a long day's drive. The bed was extremely comfortable and the wood stove just added to the atmosphere of total relaxation. We would certainly stay here again....loved it. Thank you Alan for your quick responses and directions.”
